Rated 5 out of 5áby Great rod for the price! This is truly the best value I see in a rod. It's light weight but, yet can handle a big fish! . I had the 8 ft model, lost it overboard and am buying another one. I have landed a big Jack, Snook and Red. An awesome rod! April 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Handles the reds nicely I have the 7 ft handled a 26 inch 6 pound red easily. I'll be buying another but the 7 ft 6 rod for better casting. March 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby 7'6'' Medium The rod is ridiculously light, even though I paired it with a Penn Fierce II 3000 size spooled with 15# PowerPro. It's got standard Fuji guides and reel seat. Honestly the best bang for your buck, I can't see how this won't last you several years as long as you take good care and maintain it. Fought a 22 1/2 inch snook last Sunday and boy was it a blast with the rod bending over. March 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby As good as the best. This rod is just as good as the G-Loomis, Waterloo, St Croix, etc. rods. The longer bottom piece makes handling the big fish easier. Great back bone on the Med. Heavy. February 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby perfect Perfect inshore rod nice stiff back bone but light weight. Hurricane always has made excellent rods and still does. November 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Great for the price! These are great feeling and handle pretty much anything inshore. The quality is on par especially for the price. I have bought 6 of them from the 7' m to the 7'6" mh. They get the job done!! August 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Best rod for the money!!! Best rod for the money, hands down! Own 3 of them all work great. Great feel and lots of backbone for a medium pole. April 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby Hurricane Poles Great performance, the only poles I use! The hurricane poles have held up to everything on the Gulf coast. April 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5áby The Best I have had my original 7 ft medium now for 7 yrs. i just add another one to my collection arsenal which is a 7'6" medium as well the next one will be a 7'6"MH. My only question is when will ther be a 7'4" in all sizes thats the only con about it so when i bought the 7'6" i already have plans to cut 2" off it so it will be 7'4". Other then this i couldnt ask for a better rod and a great price. December 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5áby Best inshore rod for the money... period I own 3 Calico Jacks and one Redbone (also made by Hurricane) and they are by far my favorite inshore rods. Warranty is good (never had to use it) and they are tough as nails with great sensitivity. I stopped buying St. Croix rods once I bought my first Calico Jack. November 14, 2014
