Rated 5 out of 5 by Triman Great Rod good price For the size and action and offshore it is extremely light. Nice looking rod yet to test it on a thing big April 29, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by PierFishing Very poor quality! This was my second Redbone heavy action rod within 2 weeks. The employees at Dicks were great and recommended this rod for fishing off of the Sunshine Skyway Piers. The first rod I had broke after the first decent bite. I took it back to Dicks and they willfully exchanged the broken rod for a new one. Thank you Dicks! The following weekend I went back to the piers and after the second bite of the day, this rod broke into three pieces. None of these bites were huge bites, the drag on my reel never moved. I have heard great things about Redbone rods, but I think the heavy action rod is to brittle. I do not recommend this rod in heavy action! Dicks was great and refunded my money for the second broken rod and in turn I bought a Star Rods rod to try. Thank you Dicks! April 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by cc Perfect rod for the reef This rod caught snapper to cobia. I've use this rod for about a year now and there's nothing wrong about it. I love it's light weight and sensitive. There's noting that this rod can't catch. And i'm saving up to buy a new one. May 25, 2012
