Clearence Item This is a nice looking jacket, but no way would I have paid full price for it (90.) I have a couple of nice Columbia jackets that have served me very well, travelling to England and Canada. I have always liked Marmot products but seldom have indulged since I have found what I considered products the equal of Marmot, but w/o the NAME!, and for far less cost. Time will tell. May 21, 2013
Great jacket Purchased the green one right before heading out for a long weekend trip to the east coast. Jacket didn't disappoint! Knocked down the wind great and was warm enough in 60-70 deg temps with just a t-shirt underneath. Didn't have a chance to tryout it's waterproofness since I didn't get caught in any rain. Breathability is pretty good with the pit zips opened, but got kind if muggy inside the jacket at times when I was starting to sweat.Overall great looking, good price (got on clearance for $60) a bad very versatile. Great Raincoat! The Marmot Precip Jacket is outstanding in all aspects! The main thing that I like about it is what it doesn't have . . . the stupid mesh lining that makes any raincoat a struggle to get on and off! NO Lining. It doesn't sweat on the inside either. This is the raincoat to have! A perfect 10! The hood is just the right size, it doesn't fall down over your eyes. And big side pockets to boot. I love it. I work outside and it works for me! Well worth the money I have never had a raincoat so completely cover me over the top part of my body. I walked around in the rain amazed how the top part of me did not get wet. My wife thought for the women the coat should go down lower in the body. For a man it is perfect. December 19, 2012

High quality Nice fit, not too baggy, not too snug. My frame is average build albeit a little bulge in mid section ! Under arm zippers are awesome to keep from overheating and help rid moisture from sweat. Jacket is on the high end for price but after having others that don't breath well and were too baggy, this is well worth the $. Splurge, treat yourself, I did and have no regrets. October 16, 2012
Fantastic The coat performed well. my last trip to the eastern high peaks was a wet one. rained 3 out of the 5 days i was there. the coat kept me dry and warm without overheating. definitely a good jacket for the price. fit was good too, it fits on the slim side, but not too tight, more like a tailored fit. im 5'9 220lbs, and a weightlifter.
