Rated 2.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by not for me I bought the belt.weights combo for a Hydro Fit class. The belt buckles would night keep the belt tight in the water. Which let the belt slide uo under my arm pits. After just one class I had sore abbresion under both arms. The weights were too light...I need at least 10 lbs for my work out. Product discription never told weight on them, but once I say and tried them in the water I knew it was not for me. September 5, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by less than helpful I purchased this to replace the swim belt whose cover wore out. I hope that since this one does not have a cover, it will last longer. I was also disappointed with the stretchy strap that came with this one. It did NOT work anywhere near as the one on the other belt. The foam rode up my back and I took it off in frustration. I switched the straps with the one from the old one, which I hope helps. The barbells are not useful because the pool supplies them. I already had a pair of heavier ones. The gloves look flimsy, but I have not used them yet. The company really needs to change the strap to a non-stretchy one. July 27, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cheap materials Barbells are okay but whole kit is very pricy. Gloves shredded apart the first time I used them. Tried to return. It they wanted to return entire package and there were no more in store for exchange! July 16, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I expected from Dick's After using these products in the water I found that (1) the weights did not offer enough resistance to be helpful to me during aquacize class (2) the elastic on the water belt had so much give that it did not keep the belt tight around the waist and it functioned more like water wings and (3) the stitching between the fingers on the resistance gloves started to unravel after 2 classes. BUT the mesh bag to hold the equipment worked fine... I will say that Dick's took back the equipment set without any problem or receipt. They were very helpful. July 11, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good concept but not enough weight I went for the gloves but thought this was a great idea. This is a very low impact workout. It states that on the box so I should not of been suprised. I will return it as its TOO low of impact. I felt It was somewhat worthless to me. The dumbells do not get heavier in the water as I assumed they would. I don't think they are even 1 lb in weight, June 5, 2012
