The boot's outsole is equipped with 4 mm multidirectional lugs to grind into all grounds, while KEEN.DRY waterproof breathable membrane keeps the foot dry and comfortable. ESS shank gives stability, and the mid-cut height increases ankle support over rocky ground. The dual-density compression-molded EVA midsole gives the foot comfort throughout every hike.

Love the boots Had knees replaced in 04 and 05. The "walk of the boot" is noticeable and important to walking enjoyment. These boots are exceeding my expectation. The heel strike is real important to me. This boot is worth the money paid. Looking forward to more use. Thanks. March 26, 2013

Great Product and In-Store Service These are the only hiking boots I have ever purchased that actually fit my feet. I have no idea the difference between hiking boots and other boots and any type of sport shoe, but these fit! The lady in the shoe department at the store (I'm sorry to say that I can't remember her name), was excellent with her service, wasn't bothersome but helpful compared to some of the harassing people there (can't stand it when I get asked if I need help 2 or 3 times in a 30 minute period by the same person!). She, however, was most of all KNOWLEDGEABLE with the products which is literally unheard of in todays day and age when it comes to footwear. Oddly sized My local store didn't have my size so I ordered these online...other reviews said they run about a half size small. I ordered a half size more than I normally wear to compensate. After wearing them for three days, I felt like they were still too small. When I went to the local store, they had a full size bigger than my normal. I tried them on and it felt a little better, but not much. I don't typically wear a wide, but I believe the issue may be the boot are a tad narrow. I tried on a pair I Keen hiking shoes at a full size bigger and THEY still felt too tight. I returned my boots and realized Keen was just not meant for me March 13, 2013
