The North Face Women's Horizon Tempest Pant
Comfortable and light for warm weather hiking trips, not water proof but dry fast

Nice pants, bought them on clearance and are a good value for the price I paid. They do run a little on the small side. I usually wear an 8 and bought the 10.

Pants for Costa Rica
These pants got soaking wet and were pretty dry after one night of being hung on a clothesline. I'm 5'3 and the pants are too long on me. The feature to roll up the bottom of the pant legs is nice. A problem I normally have while shopping for pants is that the waist is too big and the thighs are too tight but these fit pretty well.

Way too small!
Doesn't run even close to true size. Had to return two sizes and finally gave up.

Nice quality, way too long
The quality of the fabric and workmanship is great. I had to shorten them 3 inches so I could wear them, so I wish there was a petite option or inseam choices. I am 5' 6" tall, so I'm not too short. I'm taking them on a trip, so I haven't really worn them yet. I thought they were kind of pricey, but I really wanted olive pants, and there weren't many choices out there.

North Face Horizon Woman's Tempest Pants
I wore these pants a lot on our recent safari and they were lightweight and very comfortable. I plan to get a lot of use out of them on future hikes here in NJ.

Love the pants
These pants are perfect for hiking, they are light weight, comfortable and do not restrict your movement if you need to stretch your legs to climb.

These are great fitting hiking pants. A trimmer, more flattering fit, than many others. I also like the roll up pants which are much easier than zippered pants to change. I usually order the short length, but it wasn't available so I don't know if the length is true.
