Go Outside
I've been running for 40 years and this was the first minimalist shoe I've purchased. I'm still in the adaptation period but I can say this, with all the miles I have underneath me this is without any doubt the best trail shoe I've owned and I've owned a few. I was bit concerned when I first bought it, there's not a lot to it. Merrell delivers. Everything they say in their discription of the shoe hold true, the shoe fits like a glove and the Vibram sole is, well, the soul of the shoe. I live close the Wabash River so the trails I run on have a variety of surfaces, sand, mud (that silty river bottom mud), rock and enough tree roots to put the rock plate through it paces. The Vibram sole coupled with the flexibility of the Trail Glove give you the traction of wild beast hurtling its self through the woods, never giving an inch. I love this shoe so much, I bought a 2nd pair within a month, not that I was worried the first pair wouldn't last but to have a separate pair to wear daily. The barefoot experience is one that you simply must experience. Go through the transition period to allow your legs, feet muscles and tendons to adapt and as Merrell touts.... Go Outside!!!!

comfy awesome
This shoe is durable and extremely comfortable and very easy to have correct running form in. I usually log 55-60 miles weekly so I run a lot and I'm 13 so I go through shoes quickly I wear these with socks but u could easily wear them without socks. I run on trails a lot these merrells have awesome grip. This is my first barefoot shoe I wanted the vffs but these were my back up plan and they didn't have my size in the vffs so I got these... best decision I have made for awhile thanks merrell.

Awesome
First of all, completely untie the laces before trying to take them off. Its just easier that way. And wear socks. It may seem wierd, but it helps with heat rashes, dirt getting worn into the "sued" inside bottom, stuff like that. Over all, they are great. I think I got my pair a half size too big, but Im not sure. But, even with that possibility they work fine and feel awesome. I wear them everyday, in the woods just about every weekend, and they are holding up fine. In fact, I washed them a few days ago after a camping trip that got them really dirty, and when they came out they looked like new. The rubber on the bottom hasnt worn at all, and the 'sued' inside is doing good. Wonderful quality of materials, awesome shoe.

One of the best shoes I've owned
I was really torn between these and the more road worthy ones. I like being able to hop off to the trail without worry. But, if you plan to do mostly concrete jungle walking or running, I'd recommend the road version. Either way, I love em. I would like to get the road ones next.

Great Minimalist Shoe
I saw several of my friends with these types of shoes and wanted to give them a try. Merrell was the only company I could find that made them in my size (15). I think they are great and enjoy running in them and also doing my crossfit training in them.
