Cheap hardware While the bag hanger itself seems to be heavy duty, the bolts that came with it leave something to be desired. During the installation of this product, one of the bolts snapped off, leaving us not able to complete the installation yet. If you purchase this product, be careful to drill deep enough holes and don't over-tork the bolts. I recommend this product only with that warning. February 26, 2013

Hangin tough I screwed this into my garage into just a normal ceiling stud. I was a little nervous about it at first, but after may sessions its still hangin pretty good. No signs of fatigue as of today. June 6, 2012
IT WORKS I purchased a heavy weight punching bag and needed a way to mount it under my wooden deck. This simple device did the trick. It works May 28, 2012
It's decent, could use some work. I have this in my garage on a 2x4 mounted to one of my ceiling joists. The bottom bolt where the bag hangs from could use spacers to keep it from sliding back and forth on and off the threaded part of the bolt. I suggest also picking up heavy duty springs to compliment this to keep the vibrations down when you workout on the bag. My whole garage shakes violently when I do...
