Rated 2 out of 5 by Mike This product has a design deficiency with maintaining air pressure.
This product, at $70.00, is not cheap, yet out of 3 sleeping pads that I have bought, two have not maintained the air pressure throughout the night. There is no pin hole in the pad, so I surmise that the problem is with the valve. I always check that the valve is tight after inflation. I have not had the time to submerge the unit in water to check for bubbles, but the bottom line is that you'll most often wake up in the middle of the night on a deflated pad.

I have only used this pad once since I received it. It was very comfortable. When rolled up it takes up very little space and is very light weight.

I spent a week on this mattress in fair comfort, amazing for 1.5 inch thick. First night I blew it up as full as I could get it thinking it would be more comfortable, wrong, it was way to hard. The second night I let air out slowly while laying on it until it felt comfortable, was great the rest of the week with out further adjusting. Light weight and small, repacks into stuff sack easily.

I love this sleeping pad. It's lightweight and packs up small. I used this at temps as low as 40 degrees and was still warm enough in my mummy sleeping bag. If it's too inflated, the release valve is right by my head and I let out some of the air for comfort while I'm laying on it. The manufacturer suggests to keep the valve open and self inflated when not in use. I do this, keeping it in my attic. I'm sure it's fine for most people, but my husband being 6'4" was a little too long for this sleeping pad. Unfortunately, I don't ever see the long version when I'm in the stores ready to make a purchase. All in all, I found this product light, durable and comfortable.

The sleeping pad was not wide enough. It also tapers at the feet. It was awkward. I have tried 2 air mattresses both of which had slow leaks. This sleeping pad did hold it's air all night. The thickness was sufficient.

Took it backpacking for a week. Slept on rocks and uneven ground and couldn't feel a thing. Can't wait to go out again.

Going with the less expensive treck and trail model might be better value for others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Cowboy7381 Good solid mattress
A good mattress pad. Quick to setup and comfortable. It doesn't automatically inflate on it's own, but a couple quick breaths into the valve and it inflates to appropriate level. I blow it up until it is fully inflated, then let is rest and equalize the pressure, and finally close the valve and it's at the perfect comfort level.

This compact and light design was perfect for our last family camping trip. Even though we're car camping right now I will have two soon-to-be boy scouts that will use my equipment. Range of versatility: light and compact enough for a child to carry and comfortable enough for my 6'4", 180 lb husband to sleep on for several days in slightly rocky terrain. Follow the directions for first use (inflate overnight before your trip), may need to add extra breaths to fully inflate.
