The nuts come undone while using them. Also if you want to put more than 40 lbs then the welding between the handle and the weights will come loose. This problem happened to me and so I have gotten them exchanged twice now. My third set is loose now also. They work well as long as you are not doing too intense training with it.

Basic equipment. The locking collars tend to loosen unless tightened much more than hand tight.

Good quality. Mostly content with not splintering my hands with metal shavings. Past experiences with fresh dumbbell grips were no bueno.

The only thing is the nuts slip more than I thought they would. Bit good stuff.

After I bought these, I found a better pair at another sporting goods store for about $10 less. Also I prefer my other pair with rubber grips.

I wish the spin-lock collars didn't spin loose so easily. So annoying when you have to retighten everytime you pick them back up to do a set.
