It worked for my needs
I used the carabineer to attach it to the roof of my tent. It worked great. I am going to buy a second one. I have a two room tent. You can always get batteries but can't always charge rechargeables in state campgrounds. It is worth it.

Doesn't move much air
Maybe I was expecting too much, especially since it is my first battery powered fan. For the money, I'm not sure it's worth it. It doesn't move much air, but I suppose it's better than nothing.

Great for campsite use!
Great comfort item to circulate air in stuffy tent as well as the dampen some of the forest noise. Bring extra rechargable batteries.

Going to get another!
If its a cooler day it will keep your tent perfect, however it is what it is, a small battery powered fan. With that said We love it. Performed just as expected, love the clever universal hanging mechanism.. Love the stand. Could use at least 2 for our 6 man tent. In the middle of a hot day it will not cool down your tent but it will keep it from getting hotter than it is outside while moving the air around.. Buy It, A Truly Great Idea.

Newer is not always better
2 Years ago this model had a yellow night light and a carabineer for connecting to the loop inside all tents. This new moden has a bright light and a brighter light and no way to connect it to the ring in the top of the tent just a magnet.
