was very suprised
so this was my sisters rod she had a green one and i had taken it one day a couple of years ago to catch smaller fish while bass fishing and i was suprised to find that it was just as good as my bigger bass rod i have. i caught lake trout .big rainbows, smallmouth bass, 4 and 5 lb largemouth bass and it still works great! now i have to buy one for me because she wants hers back

pretty good combo
I bought this combo for my son 2 years ago. He has caught many fish including a 5 lb and 6 lb LM Bass. This combo takes a lot of abuse from my son as he is only 7yrs old. However, this combo keeps catching fish. I plan to purchase a pink one for my daughter.

Sturdy
This is a great beginner pole for fishing small ponds and lakes. I bought one for my wife and me and the only down side is the strength of the line. easy fix.
