This product wears well for spin and workout classes as well as for bike rides

Too baggy
Function of the padded inner short was great.As for the outside portion of the shorts they are too baggy. They kept getting caught on the seat whenever I would transition form standing to sitting.

Pearl Izumi Men's Canyon Cycling Short
Pearl has the best cycling shorts. However, these baggies lack pocket space. Whoever designed these obviously lacks experience, because it makes them essentially a shell over the undershort...I took mine back once I saw there was no pocket space. I wear a MULE, but you need quick access and thats where the pocket space comes in...

Very good, worth the price
I bought the shorts for law enforcement bike patrol training. After 8 hours on the bike, my butt was quite thankful. Yes, it still hurt, but compared to the other trainees that didn't have any padded shorts, my pain levels were considerably less. The padded shorts were comfortable and breathable. The outer shorts were very light weight and stretchy, which helped. To give a better example of the riding we were doing, it wasn't just road riding, throw in descending and climbing stairs, my but could have hurt a lot worse. Best part was the padded short is removable, so if I want to try out other brands I can still do that and interchange padded shorts with outer shorts. The only negative I have is the outer short had only one pocket. The pocket can handle a small wallet and not much else.

Best mountain bike shorts
These shorts are much better than all of the others I have tried. The fit (although they run a bit smaller than similar) is great. They look good off this bike and move with you on the bike. The material is comfortable.

Awesome shorts
Shorts have a detachable inner brief which is padded. Shorts are stylish, very comfortable and facilitate movement. I'm a 33, the mediums are slightly big (probably meant for 34), but shorts provide for inseam band that can be tightened. Highly recommend.

Great Buy from Pearl Izumi
Great Mountain bike shorts! They are made from a very light weight polyester fabric, but they are very durable. I ride pretty hard and they take the beating. The liner chamois is comfortable.
