Rated 2 out of 5 by Don't Bother It worked o.k. with one bike. Two bikes created a big problem. When two bikes are used it bounced around too much and caused one of the side straps to fall down. I would go back and tighten the straps again and the same thing happened. I returned the item because I felt that I could lose both bikes and cause damage to other vehicles if the thing decided to totally let go. Thanks but no thanks. July 31, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Beware! Although this product is light, and seems to easily fit on to hatchback cars, the rubber that is supposed to hold the bicycle in place is not fixed or locked on to the metal bar. This enables the bicycle to bounce all over, and to fall out of the holder really easily. I had to bring this product back, after having a problem with the bicycle falling off of it, even though it was as secure as the product allowed. I would not buy this product. May 14, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This product damaged my vehichle! Design flaw This product has a major design flaw. I have probably used it 7-10 times in total and I will discontinue use of it and write the manufacturer, as I have noticed the arm that holds the weight of the bikes has created a wrinkle in the trunk of my BRAND NEW car. This is a complete design flaw. August 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product We really like this product. It works great on our Impala and most vehicles. We were disappointed to learn that it does not work on our Acadia. It advertises that it can be used on most SUVs but after reading the list we found that was not true. Be careful when you buy it if you have an SUV. July 8, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor design I picked this over a less expensive 2-bike rack because the design seemed simpler with fewer things to attach. Bad decision. I used the carrier to transport two bikes from my home to a nearby park. On the way there - despite using the tethers as instructed - the bike rack seemed to lose its position. I ended up with a bad scratch to my car's paint from one of the bikes. There seem to be some issues with this design. Since it has only one "arm" (as opposed to two) resting on the top of the trunk, I feel it is more susceptible to swaying. Also, there is a locking mechanism for the arms which is simple enough to lock and unlock, but the toothed design seems to prevent spreading the arms out in the optimal position. Overall, very disappointed with this purchase, did not expect Dick's to carry poorly designed products. Will probably go in for a hitch mounted carrier despite the expense. June 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far, so good I was afraid of the scratches on my cars. But nothing happened so far. Easy to use. It works for me. July 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good purchase Bike rack worked really well. Drove from TN to MA without any problems. Easy to install and holds two bikes well. July 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by This is pretty stable on the my hatchback. First bike rack ever so took only two tries to get the angle right so the bikes were very secure (the bikes themselves were secure in their cradles, it was the angle and tightness of the straps that I'm meaning). My own bike is a hybrid so the angle it fits on the rack is a little off to begin with but it doesn't shift on my car at all once it's on ;) April 2, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty Good, Yet Seemingly Unstable I purchased this bike rack today (5/6/2013) from the Dick's Sporting Goods in Odenton, MD. I pulled it out of the box, and I could tell that installation was pretty straight-forward. It seems pretty durable. There is enough space to hold two bikes on there. My only issue, is it seems insecure. I have a 2010 Nissan Versa hatchback. I was having an issue with the rack rocking from side to side, and it seemed like it was about to fall. I had to pull over twice to readjust the rack, and tighten the straps. Maybe I am just a bit paranoid, but I think it would be better to have two vertical arms on it, instead of just one. I think if they were to design it as such, it would stay pretty well put. All-in-all, I cannot say that I am displeased with the product. May 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product Very stable and simple to use. Folds up easily, and small enough to store in a small area. June 11, 2013
