Titleist Pro V1x High Numbers Golf Balls - Prior Generation 4.4 5 9 9
The Best Tried a few Pro V1x's from a gift pack and liked them so I bought these online at Dick's. Great price and the play of these balls didn't disappoint. Was using Bridgestone's; going to stick with ProV1x's. November 7, 2014
High Number Titleists The golf ball itself needs no review because it's a proven great ball. I primarily bought them because of the 'higher / off-normal' numbering and a 'decent' price for prior generation ball. My basic review is great ball. The added statement is it's an expensive ball (but, most of the better companies are overpriced on quality balls). Parting statement- We all hear of the talk of 'golf interest dwindling' etc. Then start spending more time on controlling pricing and maybe a little less on R&D to help the pros hit the next 400 yard drive! How can someone just getting into the sport working wife / 2.1 kids/ yada - feel good about spending an entire paycheck on clubs / $2.50 -$3.75 per ball cost / $50-100 green fees/ etc? My guess....want to stop the bleeding? Come back to affordable and allow a beginner or average golfer the 'mental freedom' of enjoying the sport for what it is and not for what they have to spend. I don't believe that 4-5 hours on a course are the enemy...the cost is. That's my review and my humble opinion. October 21, 2014
Pro V1x golf balls a discount on pro v1x golf balls is always good. my only issue with the purchase, there was no indication of the year until the balls shipped. the title does state prior generation. the shipping notification email i received is when i learned they were 2011. not a big deal, but i was not thinking they would be 3 years old. Titleist pro v1x Received the golf balls on time and the price was good. May 5, 2013
love this ball i have not played a titleist in years. instead used all from high priced japanese balls to nike xix. loved the nike for the price. ran out of nike and noticed 20xi on sale for $29.99 just about to order and said hold it. if on sale they must be coming out vvith another ball. got a box of pro v1x. must have picked up minimum 10 yards on all clubs. forget the increased distance, this ball does exactly as advertised "drop and stop." able to back this ball up from the fairvvays and able to stop out of rough. fantastic ball. this is the reason most pros play the ball. i disliked titleist because all the pros play it and get it free i believe. having played the ball i understand. makes it the number 1 ball in golf. Used $10 Coupon I used a $10 coupon to purchase these balls for my son as he was participating in a number of high school tournaments. He loves the balls although I am certain that it is more mental than anything. October 17, 2012
this is the best golf ball on the market I don't hit any other golf ball. They have great feel around the greens, with not a lot of spin off the tee. They are a little pricey, but if you love golf, it's worth the price. October 16, 2012
This ball works! This is by far the best ball in golf. Handicap, age, swing speed and compression aside, the Pro V1x is the ball for me. Straighter drives, great distance and green side control keep me coming back to Titleist Pro V1x golf galls. October 16, 2012
