Solid set of boxing gloves
I use these gloves during my heavy bag training sessions and I've been very pleased with the fit and protection offered by them. The gloves are a good value for the cost and are great for the novice boxer who is looking for affordable glove for training. The Velcro straps work well and can be adequately tightened to offer some waist support as well as securely fastening the gloves during rigorous training.

Great gloves for the price!!!!
I have spent over $100 for top quality name brand sparring gloves that don't provide as much comfort and protection that these gloves do. Yes, these are a little more expensive than the basic starter gloves its worth it. Your hands will thank you.

Hard working gloves
I got these gloves about a month ago and they have held up really nice. They provide excellent wrist support on the heavy bag. They have a good feel and are overall pretty comfortable. However, if you are using them for over an hour or two your hand wraps will be soaking wet when you get done.

Wrist closures seem backwards
These gloves have velcro wrist closures that close from the inside of the wrist to the outside of the glove, which makes the second glove difficult to close without assistance. When the velcro closes from the outside of the glove to the inside of the wrist, I can grab the closure with my teeth and pull it closed, which is not possible with the closure going the opposite direction. Didn't realize this design flaw when I bought them.

Solid gloves for heavy bag
I purchased these for the heavy bag and some light mit work. They have exceeded my expectations on comfort and padding. Solid gloves at a reasonable price.

protex gloves
I've been using these gloves since August while taking a beginners boxing class. Also used for heavy bag work. These gloves are really a compromise between toy and real boxing gloves. the wrist support is lacking so don't try to throw any hooks with much intensity until your technique is good. Also the velcro closure can come apart working the focus mitts. This is pretty annoying in a class. tight hand wrappings help somewhat with the wrist support but you really can't compare with the kind of protection you get from some other brands. Padding is adequate and they are kind of bulky. For the money go with something from Title, Grant, or Fighting Sports if you can find them.

Good Gloves
My wife and I bought these for a kickboxing class we signed up for. They fit pretty good and aren't too tight, like some others we tried on. Also, I like having the extra wrist padding that less expensive gloves didn't have.

Everlast Protex2 Training Gloves
I use these gloves for sparing and they are soft enough to not cause serious facial damage (cuts, swelling). Getting hit hurts just enough to not want to get hit again. The only con, that all modern gloves have is the velcro strap. If the strap is hanging off because the users fore arm width is small it can cause scrapes. All around I actually enjoy using the two pairs I bought and I do not regret it to this day.
