Rated 5 out of 5 by Great gloves for the price!!!! I have spent over $100 for top quality name brand sparring gloves that don't provide as much comfort and protection that these gloves do. Yes, these are a little more expensive than the basic starter gloves its worth it. Your hands will thank you. April 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hard working gloves I got these gloves about a month ago and they have held up really nice. They provide excellent wrist support on the heavy bag. They have a good feel and are overall pretty comfortable. However, if you are using them for over an hour or two your hand wraps will be soaking wet when you get done. January 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pair of training gloves I originally had the cheaper pair of everlast training gloves. They started to tear after about six months of use and then the plastic material on the inside started scratching me. Decided to upgraded to these bad boys. So far I'm loving them. Definitely better material and build quality compared to previous gloves. I've used them pretty hard for about a month now and they're not showing any signs of wear. I'm happy with this purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Gloves I purchased these for my 15 year old son who is taking boxing lessons. I have to say the mesh feature for the palms is an excellent idea! If you're wearing these gloves more than 2-3 days a week like he is, I recommend the mesh. His gloves have yet to stink and he's had them over a month now and he trains an hour a day, 3-4 days a week. He said the padding and support is good, even for the heavy bag work. He's just recently started wrapping his hands so I think that has helped with the support though it wasn't necessary. I definitely recommend these, even for someone who is a beginner, or just boxing for fitness. I don't know how to review these in sparring, he hasn't started that yet! (if you don't understand the importance of smell, stand next to someone's used gloves at the gym. Seriously...just stand by them! You'll smell it!) December 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to dry You read the headline and think "what does that mean?" To anyone who has ever boxed in a gym for training or trained to fight using gloves like these you know a glove holds sweat and can become disgusting. I am now using these in my in-home fitness room and i use them sometimes twice a day and they dry out quickly. They have good wrist support and enough padding that with pre-wraps I don't hurt my hands. I have been boxing and doing MMA for 11 years now for sport and for fitness and these have been good so far. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great gloves We purchased two sets of these gloves. My teenage son and I are taking boxing together. This is the first time for both of us. We really liked the padding in these gloves on the leading edge of the knuckles. These give so much more padding and wrist support than the basic gloves. The interior is smooth and free of seams. The Velcro on the wrists if wide and secure. The only drawback is trying to get the Velcro closed on the second glove one you have them both on. It could have been a little longer for easier fastening. February 11, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wrist closures seem backwards These gloves have velcro wrist closures that close from the inside of the wrist to the outside of the glove, which makes the second glove difficult to close without assistance. When the velcro closes from the outside of the glove to the inside of the wrist, I can grab the closure with my teeth and pull it closed, which is not possible with the closure going the opposite direction. Didn't realize this design flaw when I bought them. November 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good This product is great the mesh helps your hands breathe while working out hitting the bags. August 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Everlast Protex2 Training Gloves I use these gloves for sparing and they are soft enough to not cause serious facial damage (cuts, swelling). Getting hit hurts just enough to not want to get hit again. The only con, that all modern gloves have is the velcro strap. If the strap is hanging off because the users fore arm width is small it can cause scrapes. All around I actually enjoy using the two pairs I bought and I do not regret it to this day. April 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good/Stylish Gloves The gloves are comfortable and your hands don't get sweaty. Great gloves can't weight to use 'em in the ring! October 16, 2011
