Solid Glove All Around..!! I practice JiuJitsu, and at my Academy they have an MMA class, so with a limited budget I needed to get Cup, Mouthpiece, MMA gloves, 16 oz Boxing Gloves, Shin Pads etc. When it came to 16oz Gloves, I had my eye on the Everlast ones that were like $34 ...until I got to the store and tried them on. After 30sec to a minute my hand felt fatigued...just wearing them...not even punching...it felt loose, it was hard to strap the second strap, and when I did hit my fists together I could feel the impact too much so I looked around and found these ones, The energy-gel ones, yeah they were $15 more, but they looked nice, they fit perfect, almost felt as if they were a natural extension of my own hands, as if they were a part of me..the Velcro was easy to latch on the second glove, they fit tight around the wrists and gave great support...I did not feel the impact like I did with the other ones...and they were stylish... I did not hesitate to buy these ones instead. an hour later I was at the gym...after JiuJitsu Class, when MMA class started, we worked some take downs...then we got into boxing..I put on these gloves (without hand wraps) I have some but decided I would try these out without them, this way I knew worst case scenario how they felt... Well they held up great...my hands were protected, my wrists were protected, they were comfortable, didn't feel too mushy when striking my sparring partner, didn't get too hot, or too sweaty...in fact I didn't even feel wet during or after using them... Overall I am VERY HAPPY with this purchase, and although I am sure there are better ones out there somewhere, I GARENTEE you will not find them for this price. February 23, 2013

good but needs work Need to have a hook and loop strap instead of the elastic strap it has good support the gel is comfortable but the strap does not hold the glove to your wrist well I return and I am getting a better pair for a better Company January 15, 2013
Dos gloves! These gloves are very comfortable and breathable. They stay tight on your hand and wrist. I don't think i could have made a better choice in buying a pair of boxing gloves. November 14, 2012

Love the gel! I've used several types of mens and womens Everlast gloves, and by far think the gel version is the best! Especially used in conjunction with wrist wraps, it's the best protection you can get in recreational (or competitive) boxing. November 4, 2012
So much nicer than the next rung down These gloves to the trick in absorbing a lot of the shock associated with hitting the 125lb heavy bag. Inside moisture wicking material inside is very comfortable and the the wrist provides a strong support. I also use these in conjusting with 180in hand wraps. October 22, 2012
Helped me greatly! I've boxed amateur and pro for 10 years. I now coach and have used these to spar with my students and hit the heavy bag. They are the most comfortable and fist forming gloves I've EVER had. they absorb the shock and I don't have wrist pain anymore when power hitting. I definitely recommend spending the money.
