Mizuno Men's JPX-800 Irons - (Steel) 4-AW 5 5 2 2
Nothing Better out there Before if I needed to hit a 200 yd. shot on a par 3 I'd have to hit a hybrid, not anymore. I reach a 200 yd. par 3 on our course that is all carry with my 5 iron. I love everything about these irons, they do everything they say they will and more. The tri cut sole works great and they are just beautiful clubs. August 8, 2011
Great clubs!!!! I have only played one round with these clubs but I already know I made an excellent choice! I intended to buy Taylormade Burner or Burner 2.0 irons but I tried them at a demo and left unconvinced. I swung the Mizuno's at a driving range and I liked them enough that I went home and ordered them that night. I would have ordered just 6 thru gap wedge if I had that option because I carry 4 and 5 utility clubs which I like a lot ... but I'm glad I didn't have that option because I hit several excellent 4 and 5 irons in my round that were really solid and on target! I've already taken the 5 utility out of my bag and I'm only carrying the 4 utility for shots out of the rough. BTW, I just turned 60 years old and thought that I couldn't hit those longer irons anymore. I have about a 3 handicap at the local public courses and I shot even par with the clubs my first time out ... 15 greens in regulation. I can't wait to get back out!!! One more thing ... I did hit the JPX-800 Pro and liked them a lot also but at my age I notice I'm mis-hitting more shots so I wanted the extra forgiveness. May 3, 2011
