Buyer Beware
I am the owner of two ZE9 Proform elliptical machines and one Nordic Track Commercial 1100. The reason I own three is because 2 years ago months while I was using the first machine I purchased the main crank shaft broke and sent me sprawling on the floor. With one foot going to the right and the other to the left. Basically the machine fell apart underneath me.
After a few months in dealing with the extended warranty company I was unable to get the unit repaired. The warranty company told me the unit had been discontinued and parts were no longer available.
Having been very happy with the unit before it broke and thinking this was a freak accident I bought another unit. Exact same model ? ZE9. After using it for 3 months the exact same failure occurred. The main crank shaft sheared in half and again sent me sprawling on the floor. That time I hurt my knee.
I now have a Nordic Track 1100 Pro - another major failure.

For the price great product,
Just started using it . 45 minutes great work out, versatile, great range of incline and resistance, both my wife and I use it, the only negative after only a week in a half of use is it makes a creeking noise from the pedals, and we are still waiting to receive our maintanance agreement

great product!
my wife and I had an old treadmill which we rarely used. I'm an avid runner and she doesn't really enjoy fitness (which is why we got the treadmill in the first place, but she hated it) so we compromised on getting an elliptical. We couldn't be happier with this product. It's so sturdy and very easy to use. I didn't think that I would really use it since I prefer to run outside, but this elliptical can provide a really great workout for me. My wife uses it everyday and loves it, in fact she's so taken with it that she's been calling her sisters to have them come over and try it.
