very comfortable
Very good product. Lots of air flow just make sure you give yourself a little extra room so go one size up for sweatshirts underneath.. Loved the big pockets on both sides..

A solid budget fishing vest
Not a bad vest for the price. I bought this for kayak fishing and have worn it for hours at a time without becoming uncomfortable. It's a little bulky for a sit in kayak but is just fine on my sit on. Did not chafe or become uncomfortable when paddling for extended distances. I would like to see some slots maybe for a pair of hook pliers or something but the two zipper pockets hold most of what I need them to. Overall this is a solid vest if you like to fish and don't want to break the bank.

Top Notch Fishing Vest!
This vest is an all around great product! I recently picked one up to use when out on my jon boat and i couldn't be more happy with my selection. It is surprisingly light, super comfortable and not restricting at all. I have no problem pitching and flipping or whipping a long cast across the water. The neoprene collar is also a great feature! I can wear this vest for long periods of time, without my neck getting chafed or irritated. Pair that functionality with it's great outdoorsy look and storage pockets and you've got yourself an all around Awesome fishing vest!! I would recommend this product to anyone.

Product is as advertised
Product is just a little undersized. I should of ordered one size larger. Over a sweatshirt it could be a little tight.

Love It
Lightweight top material breathes and is very comfortable in warm weather. Leaves plenty of room for arm movement while kayaking.

Vest allows manuverability while providing safety.
With new rules for life jackets while hunting or fishing from a canoe, I needed a vest that would allow me to wear cold weather gear/ be safe/ and be able to cast or shot. This vest has it all.

Perfect for Kayak Fishing
I bought this for a gift for my son (27) and he loves it. He said the lightweight top leaves plenty of room for arm movement while kayaking and fishing. His current life vest restricted his movement too much and made fishing and paddling uncomfortable. He was so happy with this vest that he left it on in the my den for over an hour and kept saying how comfortable it was. He also loved the pockets that were a good size for his fishing tackle and tools.

The young man who waited on me at your Tupelo, MS, location was exceptional. I wish I had his name. I needed an XXL size fishing/safety vest which was not on the racks or in the storage area. He could have easily have said, "Sorry; we don't have that," but he went to the trouble of going online, ordering it, and having it shipped to my address. It has every feature I was looking for. Extremely pleased.

Almost perfect!
I bought this vest primarily to use while out fishing and hunting waterfowl in my canoe. Field & Stream make some great products. In the past I have purchased F & S kayak paddles, a tackle box and one of their knives (the modern bowie model). All of which I am very happy with. This vest is no exception and I was able to get it at a really good price and in my size -- I'm a big guy at 6'5" and 240 pounds so finding things for my frame is a challenge at times. The vest is comfortable, lightweight, and allows for superb ventilation on hot summer days and fantastic mobility when I'm paddling or fishing. The two pockets are also extremely easy to access while out on the water. I can't say anything bad about the vest. The only thing I would change is the addition of some sewn in loops to carry a few extra shotgun shells and maybe a small flashlight. If you're an avid outdoors person and looking for a top quality life vest then this is definitely one to consider owning.
