CamelBak Mule 100 oz. hydration system
I took my CamelBak Mule on my first hike last week. It was better than expected. This combination hydration system/backpack is roomy enough to carry lunch, snacks, keys, wallet, camera, rain poncho, etc. etc. My hike was only a 5 miler so I filled the bladder about half full. It kept me well hydrated and the backpack part of it was fairly loaded, but with the waist strap everything stayed in place and was well balanced. I was concerned about shoulder pain, but did not have any. I am very pleased with my purchase and would heartily recommend this system to anyone. I expect to have many happy hiking adventures using my CamelBak Mule hydration system.

Good daypack for biking / hiking
I bought this pack after my daughter left for college and took my CamelBak Blowfish - 70 oz. I figured I'd go with a bigger waterpouch just so we'd have different options if my Blowfish ever made it home. The MULE is a good bag, but the larger of the two sections for stuff isn't as big as the Blowfish. I'm guessing it trades space for water, for space for stuff, which makes sense. But the bag wears well, has lots of little pockets to keep things organized, and is comfortable. The compression straps hold everything down nicely so the bag's contents don't flop around while wearing it. Both the Blowfish and the MULE are great bags, depending on how much water you want to lug around.

there were so many compartments for such a small bag. I loved that it is so compact and not bulky.

Perfect!
I purchased this not realizing the price until I got home. I had planned on returning it UNTIL I checked it out. Great bag, very roomy, lots of pockets, the bladder holds 3 liters. Don't waste your time looking at others THIS IS THE ONE!! Limited lifetime warranty on the bladder.

The means to stay hydrated comfortably!
The Mule is a really well built hydration pack that allows storage of all my trail needs like bars, energy gels, pump, you can even store your helment when not in use. The low profile antidote reservoir is easy to fill and sits well in the pack. I would definitely buy again. As a side note I was a little annoyed that I paid 10 dollars more then the price tags listed cost. I guess that was how Dick's sports provided "free shipping!"

Best hydration pack out there!
Very durable and has a large water bladder. Water stay cold for a very long time. Life time warranty!

Good for newbie hikers
The pack is actually smaller than the picture shows. The bag is big enough for a full 100oz bladder and a few extra small things. Comfortable and the straps are adjustable.

Does everything I expected.
I use this unit when I go for my daily rides. It carries all my tools and parts and also my personal items I need. The water stays cool for the 2+ hours I ussually ride and it is easy to clean.
