Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave G Awesome product!
I purchased the Camelbak Hydrobak 50 for a Tough Mudder that I recently ran in Tahoe. I chose this particular product based on many positive reviews, and due to it's slim, compact size. This hydro system absolutely rocked! The bladder was large enough to easily keep me hydrated without weighing me down, and the unit contoured my body so I no problems clearing the barb wire during crawls. I also liked the large cap which made the bladder easy to fill. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a low-profile hydration backpack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Runnergrl Great for running.
I bought this for running and it does the trick. One reason I'm not giving it five stars is it doesn't have a strap that goes across the chest (WHY???). I actually took parts from my old Camelbak and fashioned them to the straps on this one to make it fit better. I cinch it up quite tightly and it barely even moves. It's perfect for running and it didn't slow me down or bother me at all. Also, the other reason it won't get five stars is I think the pocket could have been made just a tad bigger. It fits my car key and some money/credit cards, but not my iPhone. I ended up putting my iPhone in a baggie and putting it in the part of the pack with the water bladder. It wasn't a problem, but the room is clearly there to make the pocket just a little bit bigger. Maybe it's bigger on the 70 oz version. Anyhow, I would recommend this product despite it seeming to be about $10 more expensive than it needs to be (IMHO).

Rated 5 out of 5 by farb24 just enough
this Camelpak is exactly what I was looking for; It's perfect for my runs and holds just enough water for a long run for up to 11-12 miles( 1.5 liters) and has just enough storage space for small belongings like a cell phone and keys. Lightweight, small and doesn't bounce when I run with it; Very comfortable; I take it with me on all my runs now, because it's so comfortable. Minimally, to point, which is hydration that doesn't weigh you down or interfere with your run. Great product. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by aspiring mud runner Cool water on the go
I bought the CamelBak Hydrobak to use while running. I have found that it Carries plenty of water for my 5k runs. The water stays nice and cool even when the sun starts beating on me. I wish the pack had a sternum strap and a bit larger pocket to fit my phone in without putting a strain on my headphone cord. It will be no problem when I switch to a smaller mp3 player instead of my bulky smart phone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by onairs10 great for minimalists
This is a bare bones water pack. The pocket is enough for keys or a cell phone... not both. An iphone needs to be persuaded in there. Other than that, it's great. I wish it had a shock cord on the back to hold a light coat.

I use my camelback for running anywhere from 2 miles to 3 miles. The lightweight of the water pack never hinders my distance or speed. The shape and location of the mouth makes it trouble free when hydrating while running. I would tell anyone from the beginning runner to the advanced runner to invest in a camelback. F friend of mine uses her camelback when she gouse on 5 to 6 mile runs, but with a larger water holding capacity. The convenience of using, storing, and filling the camelback is great! i have never had a leak. I love this product.
