Best Value for the Money After reading a few other reviews I want to clarify something. A few people mention there is a piece that comes with that they do not know what to do with or how to attach it but it is so simple. You attach this piece to the frame of the bike and there is a piece attached to the cable that hooks in there and makes it super easy to travel with. I hope if anyone was looking to buy this lock and read pervious reviews that this helped clear that up. Its a great lock and I love the key feature. January 24, 2015
Good price This is a really cheap lock for what it is. I can't figure out what makes it so cheap, it must be thinner cable than others or something. I like that the keyhole has a switch that makes a cover come out over the keyhole (I've had others rust before). It just makes me wish the locking mechanism had an o-ring around it or something too. The spare key is nice. I haven't figured out where to screw on the riding holder for the lock, but I figure it will be nice to have once it's installed. The only thing I don't like is that the packaging says to contact a Nishiki dealer for installation, but there is no phone number to call. January 12, 2015
what? The only problem I have is how or what do I do with the thing the cable is hooked to. Is this suppose to hook on the bike? There was no instrutions with the lock, but U do like the fact that it comes with a key. August 17, 2013
Buy a Chain or U-lock Had this lock around the frame and through the front wheel. Someone cut through it in front of 100's of people. $600 bike gone. My next lock will either be a U-lock or a thick chain and padlock August 6, 2013

cable lock saves the trip My spare tire was not accurately replaced and falling on my trip to laughlin, nevada. I stopped at rancho dick's to buy this cable lock and it sustained my spare the trip to laughlin and back. very pleased. November 15, 2012
ok good but this webdsite isnt working August 25, 2012
Works great for the price This so far works great for me. I wanted a cable lock that uses a key but as another poster pointed out, the key doesn't fit a "normal" key ring so you just use the flimsy one they have. I marked it average because of this and also I the directions were horrible on the piece you can use to store the cable with you on the bike. Thanks to the previous poster I figured it out but it didn't fit my bike (but then again could have been putting it on wrong)... May 4, 2012
Bought wrong one I didn't want a key lock...I am returning for a different one April 16, 2012
