Garage mount assembly
Just finished install and really happy with Hoop mounted to my garage. Looks great. Great bounce off backboard. Rim and net have feel of much more expensive setup. Agree that $140 is a steal for putting together. The mount needs to be installed right and the final hoisting to connect the last 2 hex nuts requires two adults and is a little risky. The adjustable feature works fine. Only issue I have is the backboard is not level so have to resolve. Would recommend. Looks and plays well.

No easy task putting together.
We purchased this hoop for our son's 6th birthday. My father, who is extremely handy and typically can assemble most anything without difficulty, began the tedious process of putting this hoop together. It was not the "easy" process that the salesman at Dick's assured us it would be. The assembly instructions are terrible and it took more the the "two hours" we were told it would take to finally get it together. It is finally up and most importantly, my son loves it. However, my advice to you would be to cough up the $140 Dick's charges to put it together.

not enough information given.
The backboard is good. However, no information was included as to what kind of bracket was needed to setup. The brackets on my old backboard will not fit on the new backboard. Now i have to save up to buy bracket supports.
