Rated 4 out of 5áby Good Kayak For the Money This is my third kayak and so far, has seemed to be a good purchase. The setup on the kayak is adequate, with two aft and one adjustable rod holder. Plenty of room to mount electronics. Scotty makes a mount rail for their products and I used one to mount a Scotty kayak/SUP transducer mounting arm along with a Scotty universal sounder/fish finder mount. This universal mount will fit directly in top of the mounting arm and make a single, clean install, plus you can adjust forward and aft as needed. The seat, as mentioned in several reviews, was not up to par in my opinion. I switched it out for an Ocean Kayak comfort plus seat and the comfort level is a little better. I looked for a seat like Perception is using in their Pescador 12 pro model, but did not find anything. I tried out one of those seats on a Pescador and it was very comfortable, kept me a little high off the deck of the boat, and was quick to dry. Maybe that Pescador seat would fit in this boat with a little modification..... Tracking is pretty good in both calm and rough water. Responsiveness is actually quite good. You can get this boat turned around in a very small area and in a short time. The boat is also fast and easy to get up a quick pace. This boat has been out with me for probably 10 or so times fishing since I have purchased it and I will say that it is a solid performer and a good boat for the price. April 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby The BEST KAYAK OUT THERE!!!! I bought this kayak with my own money and love it!! I live on a Resevoir and needed something to handle a good bit of chop. We had 4ft-6ft rollers one day while fishing and it handled great. I'm 5'7 142lbs (I'm 14). We took this one and 5 of my buddies that had the same one and caught sail fish, mahi mahi, bull shark, mackeral, and other exotic species and we were reeling while standing up!!! Ive never felt more secure in a boat (except on our 24ft malibu wakesetter wakeboarding boat). Im very pleased with it and have persuaded 5 of my friends to get them. The only bad thing is the seat...... It is very uncomfortable but i fixed it with a completly new seat that sits pretty high. I bought the grey/brown one for getting into my favorite places to deer hunt and duck hunt and i have been very successful whether it was shooting feather or fur from it. I highly, highly recommend this product. Its great!!! April 18, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5áby Not like any of the reviews I got this today for 449 directly from the store. The yak tracks horribly. It always turns to the right. I have to paddle twice on the right and once on the left to compensate. The seat is trash like the other reviews say. The handles on the sides are placed awkward so the paddle some times smacks them. The rod holder is a little too far ahead. You can't stand on this yak. I have excellent balance. I had to put a lot of effort into staying up. I can't imagine fishing like that. I'm 5'9 and 160. I have to have the door pegs all the way forward. I can't imagine what it's like for taller people. April 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Good price Got it on sale for $449. It was worth the money. Can't find a better kayak for that price. April 5, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Great Value It was on sale for a great price. Pros: Very stable and lots of extras for the money spent. Kayak tracks easy. Lots of Storage space Con's: Needs heavier anchor. Seat is horrible and was replaced after one trip on the water April 5, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5áby Love my Eagle Talon 120 This is a great kayak. Very stable and tracks well. The only problem with this yak is the seat. I purchased a stadium seat with rubber on the bottom so it wouldn't slide. April 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Perfect fishing kayak This kayak does everything it says it will. Plenty of storage-i can fit my chair, tent, 2 poles and other gear in the front compartment with room to spare and still have the back area for a cooler and sleeping bag. What more could I ask for and I got it at a great price. March 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby You can't beat it at this price Lets get the bad out of the way first. The seat is garbage though it in the back room. But even with that said a great seat can be got for under 100 bucks. I went with the "Go-Anywhere Seat 2" and I love it!! This thing is a great Yak for the Indian River off the East coast of Florida. It can take the chop and with just a little training you can maneuver it anywhere. I when and got a set of one inch chair leg rubber caps 1" and used it as a plug for the scuffers under the seat. It worked better than the one you can buy for 12 bucks ea. and I got four for 4 bucks. I have used it for fishing and you can stand but it is a bit tricky. I use it mostly to go to the islands in the river and enjoy a BBQ on them. It is a 4 mile paddle to the fist one and it is no concern at all. If you are a enthusiast you are going to be surprised it is as stable as my Wilderness Ride (1400 bucks) and as easy to maneuver. And at this price you can even let you're not so carful newbie friends use it. March 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Nice Kayak This is my first kayak and I like it. Took it out for the first time last weekend. A five hour trip on a great creek in SW Florida. It was easy to maneuver and was very stable. My daughter also took a turn and actually was in it more than me. I couldn't get her back in the canoe. I would recommend this kayak for any beginner. I can't compare to higher end kayaks, but I'm very happy with my purchase. March 17, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5áby Just what I was looking for I tried out a friend's kayak last summer and thought I would really enjoy it if I could get one that was easier to get in and out of (bad knees). This sit on top kayak seems like the perfect solution. It's too cold to hit the water yet, so I will update my review if it is anything less than perfect after I get out there. March 9, 2016
