Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 247 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Kayak This particular kayak is a great kayak for somebody that is looking to get into the sport of kayak fishing for the first time. It comes with many features that many higher end boats do not that you have to get added on afterwards. This kayak is a well rounded boat. Plenty of storage room, although the back cargo area is a tad bit to small for a milk crate. This boat excels in flat calm water, but gets a little sketchy when out in the ocean. This boat was definitely not made for stability. My biggest complaint about this boat is the comfort. It is the most uncomfortable kayak, or watercraft I have ever been in. I just recently sold mine to upgrade to either a ocean kayak or wildy. Overall great beginners set up, but not going to serve you well if you plan on taking this in rougher waters. April 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great features not too stable for a big guy Tracks good and would be very stable for a person 200lbs or less. I installed outriggers and now it's as stable of my Perception striker but twice as fast. April 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this Kayak I use to have a 9 foot emotions Kayak and since i bought this one i feel as if this was a huge upgrade. I took this Kayak on a lake day after i bought it and it was white capping and handled like a champ. Recommend this Kayak for anyone wanting to get into Kayak fishing April 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great kayak, terrible seat This is a great beginner kayak. This kayak is a hoss but is a bit sluggish in the water. It has a good bit of storage space. The only downfall is that the seat is terrible. I purchased a aftermarket seat for it and it has made all the difference in the world. Overall a good kayak. March 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Kayak I've Ever Owed! (albeit first too) Well first let me just state that this is the first kayak I've ever owed personally, but I've rented others before (Ocean Kayak, Malibu, and Wilderness Systems) and this kayak performs the same as those other, more expensive, brands. While it is true that the seat does need to be upgraded this didn't keep me from paddling for 6 hours (had an hour break in an abandoned lighthouse). I can also tell you from experience that if you use all of the bungees included on this kayak has you will not lose any gear if you flip. So far I am very pleased with my purchase, but I will be upgrading the seat very soon. March 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Investment My brother & me each bought the tan camo kayaks last summer! Money well spent! Easy to load on to my Jeep rack or into the bed of his Ford 150. Plenty of storage for gear, beverages & snacks. The bungee cords placed all around the kayak are very helpful. The handle on the front of the kayak is key when pulling. March 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great kayak terrible seat. Be prepared to replace the seat it's possibly the most uncomfortable seat out there. Now on to the good. This yak is light for its size the hull is thick and should last many years even with as rough as i am with yaks. It paddles straight and everything is with in reach. I'm able to stand on it with some cautious balancing. You can hey this thing moving pretty fast and once up to speed it is fairly easy to keep it going. A small plano box fits the square area behind the seat. Overall very happy with it but they could have put a better seat on it. March 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value for the price. This yak is a pleasure on flat water and can handle rough water ( foot high waves and wind). March 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The WOW! factor Value VS money spent is outstanding. This kayak makes a great platform for fishing its very stable and tracks well when paddling. The only drawback I found was the seat had a tendency to slide forward against the plastic hull causing the back of the seat to recline hence making the back support useless however I found a very quick and inexpensive fix. I found an all weather rubber mat at Lowes cut it down to fit under the seat cost about 9 dollars and the seat now stays in position making it a whole lot more comfortable. This kayak is stable enough to stand in however its a bit of a trick to get from seated position to standing or from standing to seated I installed an assist strap on mine it does help with stability when changing position. I am 6ft3 260 pounds and I find I have plenty of room in the kayak for me and my fishing gear. And if you go out with some friends you will hear WOW! a lot WOW you can stand in that or WOW you can lay down on it and nap in the shade or WOW yours is way faster than mine I can hardly keep up.
