Just right I am a charter captain on Lake Erie . I use soft grip knife exclusively to fillet walleyes . It keeps a edge and the handle affords a positive grip. I have been using the same knife for the last three years and have cleaned 42,000+ walleyes with it . i also use the 6" to bone out deer meat and the 4" to breast out ducks and geese I highly recommend this knife to everyone June 7, 2012
