This product is exactly what I needed! Typically, when you purchase replacement golf spikes you get a small metal tool that is poorly designed to permit you to remove old spikes that feel like they are cemented in place! This "cleat ripper" made the removal of the old spikes very easy. It is built like a jar opener! The tool grabs the old spikes, digging into the soft rubberlike material, and wont let go! The spike comes out quickly with little effort. I then cleaned up the bottom of my golf shoes and simply installed the replacement spikes--both shoes done in less than ten minutes. Great tool. Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend this wrench. May 7, 2013

better than the other cleat tool works great to remove cleats. doesn't actually rip them out, but definitly helps gripping the cleat even if worn down. April 16, 2013

It works, but for removal only. This product works great, but after removing the cleats on one shoe I needed to clean out the dirt so I soaked the shoe in warm water. Found out on second pair that if you soak shoes in warm water first the cleats come of with a regular spike wrench. However if you don't have that luxury this is the best tool on the market for removal. Would be nice if it could be used to put new spikes on, so only four stars. January 29, 2013
Not too Helpful The wrench was not too helpful in removing my Nike Spikes. The grip ends didn't seem to line up very well with the Spike slots. Perhaps they work better on another brand. January 16, 2013
Stubborn cleats still in the shoes This may remove some tough golf cleats. However, the REALLY tough ones that I had could NOT be removed by me, using this tool. Not recommended. November 15, 2012
easy removal this product makes removing golf spikes very easy. I probably should have bought the model with the spike wrench to put them on, but this one will do for now. October 30, 2012
