Rated 3 out of 5 by Joe u Blown fuses bad motor
Bought 4 for a once a year baseball camp. Machines run for no more then 5 hours per year. 2 of the machines kept blowing fuses which I kept replacing. My mistake I should have sent them back right away. The motors went bad with less then 10 hours of use. I called Jugs and they said the warranty was up and there was nothing they could do about it. There is something wrong with the design that they should have taken responsibility for and corrected. Based on some other posts I've read, seems like the problem continues with no action being taken by Jugs. That being said, they were a good practice tool when they worked.

The pitches are very low. Only use for 2nd and 3rd graders. I would not make this purchase again and am sincerely considering sending this thing back. Totally not worth the sticker price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Slugger Good machine just had a glitch
The on/off switch didn't work right. When the machine did come on it was a great practice tool. The customer service was good as well.

First one blew fuses as fast as I could replace. I was really trying to find a portable aid for my son. Tried another. This could be a good teaching aid if it could toss the ball higher than knee high on an ave 7 yr old. I used the ball they sell to go with machine (yellow dimple baseball) never gets higher than my son's knee. Same for regular baseball. He is 4'4". Teaches kids a very bad swing plane. It can throw a wiffle ball chest high. Maybe it should have legs. After 24 hour charge, it was getting weak after just 20 min of use. Not the 8 hours claimed.

I play competitive senor softball, I elevated the machine in my garage on a bureau, anchoring with bath towels to help stop the vibration, as well as with dumbell weights to anchor it a little more, soft toss now has a little height for slow pitch softball pitch simulation, and I hit it into a net. Great
