Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Machine This really is an excellent value in a pitching machine. It's so portable that we use it for bunting practice during warm ups before tournaments. The kids can get lots of reps in without any bad pitches. The only draw back is that it cannot be used if there is significant moisture to wet the balls. Dew on the early morning grass will pretty much take it out of commission. It's usually not a problem though later in the summer and fall. I would highly recommend this machine for frequent use. It's well built and will hold up to the work load of team practice use. June 6, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Perfect Machine! I coach my sons travel baseball team and I am also the assistant coach on my daughters softball team. I needed a machine that could throw both baseballs and softballs and boy did I find the perfect machine. The Jugs Lite Flite machine is the best machine on the market! It throws Lite Flite baseballs, Lite Flite softballs and wiffle balls with great accuracy. And it throws fastballs, curveballs and sliders both right and left handed. My kids can't wait until practice because the Lite Flite machine makes practice fun. But I think the best part about this machine is my kids will not out grow it, we will be using this machine even when they are in high school. All I can say is wow! October 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to handle We needed a pitching machine that anyone could handle to replace our old pitching machine. The Jugs Lite-Flite Pitching Machine is light enough that I can even move it around. Not only light weight but very easy to switch from baseballs to softballs. Also very easy to switch to whatever pitch you would like to have it throw. This is going to be a big assest to our program for years. March 30, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Machine I've Ever Used I have coached 8-10 year old boys and girls for 37 years. I have used many models and brands of pitching machines during that time. This machine is the most versatile, portable and valuable coaching tool I have ever employed in my practices. Combining the pinpoint accuracy with the Lite Flite foam balls, my young players are not afraid of being hit by the ball. They can focus on learning how to swing properly and success in hitting the ball breeds confidence. Most importantly for my style of coaching, the kids have so much fun they don't want to stop practicing. I can teach them how to hold the bat properly for bunting drills. If they put their hand in the wrong place when they are first learning and the ball hits their hand, no problem. It doesn't hurt but they soon learn how to bunt correctly. Same with grounders and flys. If they misjudge and take a bad hop or the ball hits them, no pain, just effective feedback in learning the correct technique. The local high school coach has one of these machines too and swears by it for teaching his players how to hit curves and go to the opposite field. Just a great value and built to last. Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Product Performs as advertised with the Lite Flite balls and accomplishes what we wanted at a bargain price. This machine is a quality product, well engineered for quick assembly and breakdown, solid construction with powder coated finish. Only drawback is that it's not effective for defensive play either directly from the machine or from batting practice as the balls are too light to simulate real baseballs. November 9, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Machine This machine is amazing what it does for what it costs. It throws every pitch, lefty or righty, every pitch a strike. I love the Liteflite balls. My kids love hitting them, and they have learned how to stay with the curveball since they know the balls won't hurt. Ball-in-the-dirt drills and other defensive drills are easy and effective to do. This machine really does do it all.......and it's portable, too. May 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great machine Great machine indoors, without the damage of real balls. I have not used outdoors August 13, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good deal. Very useful machine well worth the money. April 12, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Expensive, Not My Best Machine It's a very expensive machine for what it does. I guess if you've got the money and don't want a real ball machine for that price, it's worth it. But I took it back because we had to watch our budget(especially with the economy). Maybe if a team were to buy it and split it 12 ways, but it's expensive just for 1 person. November 15, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by o j I used it only used it 3 times. It's been good practice and good for pop ups. July 30, 2015
