Rated 3 out of 5 by This product is well constructed I researched this and similar products and read there reviews and I decided on this one. I was impressed with the quality and durability. I mounted it on my wall with ease. When I set my 11 foot Old Town Loon kayak in the hanger, it would not fit, it was too fat. I was very disappointed to say the least. In the specs., it gave the dimension of the hoop as I believe to be about 15". Well this turned out to be the outside dimension. I was very disappointed to have to return this product. I feel it should be more clear as to the dimensions. This product does not fit all kayaks. It should say this up front. February 5, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a great fit We bought 2 pair to hang our 2 different Kayaks. Easy to install but neither the sit on or the sit in really fit securely. Had to buy and install strap to prevent the Kayaks from leaning precariously forward regardless of which side faced inward. Also had to "open up" the bend to accept my 12' Current Design sit in. Swiss Cargo, with a little testing could make these infinitely better. January 29, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does it's job I am using these outside on the wall of my shed so we will see how they hold up. Easy to install, and easily hold our 2 person 80 lb kayak. January 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great I now have three of these hangers for my kayaks. The hangers are strong, easy, and quick to install. These are the best way to get those kayaks out of the way and hung! January 11, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Kayak Hooks Excellent kayak hooks with four areas to attach them to the wall. November 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy and install and strong The product is strong and so easy to install. I had my kayak on the wall in just a matter of minutes. November 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superior Hanger These are superior hanging brackets. First, the screws pass through the actual tubing and into the wall. They do not attach via the plates. Other bracket types use holes in the plates. In almost all cases, these plate holes are spaced more than 1.5 inches apart, preventing all screws from seating into the nominal 1.5 inch profile of a 2 by 4. Also, unlike other brackets that rely on the cheap weld between the hanger and the plate to hold the hanger to the wall, this unit screws directly into the wall. Not so important for a 30 pound squirt boat, but possibly significant for an 80 pound tandem. Less than ideal: The screw heads can potentially scratch the yak hull. This is easily prevented with small stick-on felt pads (or just some duct tape). Also, while the rubber padding is probably adequate, I pushed a piece of swim noodle over the curve of the hook, providing ample padding for the hull. October 26, 2015
