Louisville Slugger Blue Flame Pitching Machine
Purchased this for our 11 year old grandson. Have not been disappointed! He and his friends love it. It is made in the USA and is very high quality. Love the fact that it requires no electricity..... Totally manual and simple. Throws a variety of pitches and can be used for catching practice as well. Eleven year olds can work it by themselves after adult instruction .

They used this machine for Rookie Baseball. I bought one for my son to practice. Some things to understand about this machine: 1) use brand new balls and try to use the same ones over and over. As they get used more they sink more. 2) Don't overuse the micro adjustment, if you have to put dirt under the back of the machine to drop the ball then adjust. You should start with the micro adjustment in the middle of the pin. 3) Use SANDBAGS to keep the machine in place. If you do, it can hit the same spot over and over. Pull SLOWLY...Awesome machine.

We would tell people to buy this product
This is a great tool to use for practice and one of the best things about it is that you do not need power it is all manual! Should have an adult using it with children because the ball comes out fast and could hurt someone!

a great confidence builder
We bought one of these 2nd hand for our kids who are in baseball and softball. This has been a TERRIFIC machine. Our kids are hitting a lot better. It can also be adjusted to throw pop-ups which has helped with their catching. It has really built confidence in hitting and catching. The speed is ajustable which helps, too.

Sets up like a snap unless you are helpless. Works great. I use it both for my son and daughter and although you have to adjust the settings it tosses 100% accurately. The boys on my son's team love to try their hand at this machine. Really nice because it throws at their level and does not induce an "up" swing which is common with kids trying to hit balls thrown at them from adults.

I read all the comments before buying it & was weary. But it performs very well, I like its portable and no extension cords! I used it all winter indoors on concrete, it moves a little if you are not standing on it. Easy to assymble, easy to use. It took some time to adjust it, but as long as your patient with the first use it really is a nice piece of equipment! Very accurate! My 10u softball team loves it!

a little pricey but works o.k.
if you use right it works fine, My son has improved his contact and bat speed. It is more accurate than someone who can't throw strikes, so it does help.No power needed any feild will do.
