Nathan Velocity Waist Pak 3.3 5 9 9
Fits good This product stays surprisingly well in place during long runs with no rub. March 26, 2013
Good product, comfortable Comfortable water pack that doesn't move when you run. I used this for the first time on a 20 mile run and had no real issues. The only difficulty I had was that sometimes the waterbottle got TOO snug in its little holder and I couldn't swiftly pull it out without using excess energy. October 16, 2012
Bouncy and uncomfortable I was looking for some way to carry water and gels on runs... and this seemed like the ticket. But this belt is way too bouncy for running. The 22 oz. water bottle is just too heavy to hang off of the belt. As I ran, it felt as if the belt was sliding down and would soon be around my knees! I had to pull the belt up quite often. The only way to make this belt usable was to cinch it very tightly high around my waist, and that was simply constricting and uncomfortable. Additionally, the bottle uses a terrible design and the entire nozzle pulled out of mine the second time I used it. Finally, when I visited the Nathan website to contact their support department I got no response from them at all. They provide a form that you use to email them, and then apparently do not read the messages. September 26, 2012
Great Training Partner I started training for my first half marathon and this allowed me to carry water, ID, and energy gel so that I am able to replenish and keep moving. It fits very snug and doesnt bounce around a lot, that is the positive. The downside is that it gets pretty heavy after retaining sweat. August 22, 2012
Bouncy I was looking for a smaller water container than my 50oz camelbak for shorter (5-10mi) runs. I really wanted a device that had the bulk in the back and would also fit my phone as I use it for gps and music. This was dissapointing on all levels. I did not go more than .2mi without adjusting this belt in some manner. It was very bouncy (as I should've known). It ended up being most comfortable at my natural waist, which felt unnatural to me since I am used to smaller race belts fitting more in the hip area. Also, my iphone 4 did not fit in the pouch at all. I had issues with that as well. I ended up returning and getting a different Nathan brand belt that has 2 10oz bottles in the front with a larger pouch that does fit my phone and 1 or 2 gels as well. This would probably be good for walking but any sort of a jog is just too bouncy. July 30, 2012
I would buy this product again. I use this product while I am on my really long runs and it is a great tool to have. The only complaint that I have is that the bottle tends to work itself out of the pouch. I have to continuously push it back in. I would recommend putting small straps of the ends so the this problem does not happen. Other than that I am very pleased with this purchase. June 26, 2012
The pouch is perfect! It's perfect for long runs. The belt has a pouch that fits my Itouch securely and an additional pocket that fits keys and an id with room for other items. The water bottle is of good quality as well! Perfect for your ultimate organization while running. May 17, 2012
Comfortable, but, needs better bottle I use this when I run. The belt fits comfortably and doesn't bounce around as much as other belts I've work. The angle the bottle sits at is good for easy access. But, the bottle has a really cheap feel to it. The cap is difficult to close completely while running and has leaked all over my back side a few times. I think I'm going to find a better quality bottle to fit inside the bottle compartment. Love it I went from a hand held to this pack and I love it! it did bounce a little at the begining of my run but once I took a few sips I completely forgot that it was there. Until I needed a drink! October 17, 2011
