Customer Reviews:

St. Croix Triumph Travel Spinning Rods 3 5 2 2
Won't find much better than this. I bought one of these 2 years ago or so. Mine is an ultralight 5 ft 3 inches. By far the best ultralight I have ever owned or used. It is very sensitive with excellent action. I challenge anyone to pick one up and hold it straight out and not get the tip to wiggle, it is impossible. I use it mostly for crappie fishing and love the thing to death. This past summer I happened to catch a 6lb eel pout, a 7lb northern and a 3lb bass on this rod and it never showed signs of breaking, even though I was a bit nervous. If you know you have a large fish on just be smart, use your net if you can and you won't have any problems. After seeing and using mine my father bought two 5'6" ultralights for himself and my mother. Same story, they love it. September 20, 2012
I would not by this product again! I had this rod for 4 months and set the hook on a fish and it broke right in half. June 18, 2012
