Greatly improved over version 1
The new stability system has definately improved the machine (see the website at sluggerupm.com). The machine stays very stable now with this new version. They have added heavy duty nylon straps in the back of the machine that locks the frame and base together creating a stable system.

Sounds really good, but not really.
Cords are loose after several hits. Needs constant adjusting.

Stay Away
This machine is not built well enough even for a 9 yr old. It constantly breaks and needs to be adjusted in just a few reps. Not what I expected for a Louisville Product

Fine Product
My team (16U) has been using this device for warm ups all season. It's a great tool and easy to set up and transport. The price is really much lower than it should be for such a good product.

Great for father and son
Excellent product; very satisfied. I like the fact it is ready to hit as soon as you recoil your swing. Adjusting the height of the target ball is simple and you can add a horizontal ball movement with a touch of your bat. This product is truly designed for all skill and age levels.

Great Product
I wanted a simple device that my son could practice his swing with. This product cost $100 less than the other swing devices cost. It provides everything that we were looking for. we are very happy with it.

Too Many Problems
I'm am a 12 year old Little League coach and thought this machine would help my Team and son get a lot of swings in at practice and before the game. The problems are this machine are many but the main problem is that this machine is not built to take a lot of swing reps. I was constantly breaking and had to have a coach stand next to the machine to fix it every few minutes. It got to the point that it is not worth it setting it up.

Broke 1st Day
This machine did not make it an hour in my house. I bought this for my 8 and 12 yr old Boys who are good baseball players, to practice with. It broke after a few dozen hits by both of them. It is very cheaply made and a big dissapointment I am surprised Louisville has put its reputation on the line with this product.

Wonderful gift for my son
My 12 year old son received this as a birthday gift from my brother back east. He spends an hour every day practicing his swing. The best part of this device is that he can practice on his own. The machine returns the ball to the precise spot that it was, just like it was on a tee.
