Well, I wore these almost 3-5 miles 5 days a week walking dogs up and down hills, on roads and forest paths and they held up pretty good. They wore out inside the heel although I did not notice any slippage while walking. Also the tread is starting to tear in some places on the bottom of the heel after a year. Overall, I love these shoes and I am ordering my next pair.

I am a professional dog walker and walk 4-5 miles a day on pavement, forest trail or park settings. With these shoes, I get the support I need and my feet are in good shape at the end of the day. I ordered a 1/2 size larger and had to return them for my regular size 9. They are plenty wide with lots of room in the toe even with thick socks.

Rated 4 out of 5áby LilBitBux Good support and comfort
Purchased these over a week ago. I needed shoes that had better support than my converse (which have NO support) so I tried these out and they actually help my posture. They help me keep my ankles straight as my ankles tend to get weeker the older I get and tend to want to fall outward. but these shoes keep that from happening, I am having less back pain now too, which is great and hoping my knees get some relief soon. All in all a well made shoe, great support and helps my posture...only wish they had this shoe with a different color lining, and tongue detail..i dont' care much for the mint color, but not enough to make me not buy them. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who wants a well made shoe that is not gaudy and looks very nice, and has great support and comfort, very good shoes for walking, have not been out on a hike yet or out thru the woods with them, but I think they will be great for my outdoor adventures.

I like to walk but have some weak ankles and seems to step on small rocks etc and twist my ankle. These have wonderful suppport and when I step on a rock I keep on going. they are very comfortable shoes and look great. I'm glad I bought them.

I'm a senior citizen and this is the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. There was no break-in required, have worn them all day, hiked trails, hills, and city streets. They're a year old now, still in good shape, but notice I need to wear a slightly thicker sock as they seem to fit more loosely after this much wear. I've looking for another pair just for casual wear.

I bought this shoe to wear to work, I'm on my feet approximately 5 hours a day. The first few days I wasn't sure about the insoles, so I thought I would buy some. Wow, what a difference! They broken in quickly and are alot more comfortable. I like the colors too! The only reason I rated a 4 star was because of the insoles, otherwise a pretty good shoe. I've worn for about two months now and I'm happy with my purchase.

I took this shoe to Peru and climbed all over Machu Pichu and the hills around Lake Titikaka and could not have been haapper. I do not exercise alot and was pleased that after all that hiking and climbing, my feet felt as good as they did when I started out. This is the best shoe that I have ever had.

I just wore this shoe all around Disneyland, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, and elsewhere on a family vacation. It was comfortable and supportive. I bought the shoes anticipating we might do some mild to moderate hiking but we did not have time for that.
