Casts well for fluoro, high abrasion resistance
I was at first fairly unsatisfied with this line, it was very difficult to cast with my conventional spinning gear. However, I went down a line size and found it to be much more manageable. I appreciate the low stretch when using a soft rod and the abrasion resistance is a must for fishing in cover and pounding rocks looking for smallmouth. Have also found it to be resistant to toothy fish and use the larger sizes as leader material when fishing with braid.

easy and flexible casting line.
i love Berkley fluorocarbon line.you can cast it a mile and fish cant see the line which enables me to catch plenty of trout.last week i caught two salmon 7.5&6 lbs on 4pound test.the line has good shock qualities and is very strong. [vanish]

You get what u pay for...
What do you expect from Berkley. It a well known brand of line. not the best nor worst. Vanish dosen't really vanish. But good marketing. Fluro line is suppose to refract light, and this line does until you nick the line. then it channels light to that nicked spot. As far as knot strength, it does a good job. but it stretches more than others. I find myself replacing the line 3-4 time a season on 2lb to 6lb. 2lb test will slice fingers when wet.It always tangles and get wind knots. 4lb has stretch issues and turns cloudy quick. 6-8lb has knot issues and line memory. 10lb holds up the best and last longest before replacing. 12lb and 14lb channels light when nicked, but good knot strength and low stretch. stick with pony spools and back it with braid. this way you can save $$$ just replace the top shot.

Cast Great
I bought this line to start off the trout season i like it alot cast great better then mono and have yet to loose a fish on it. Only reason i didnt give it a 5* is because it does tangle reallll easily compaired to mono but this was my first time using florocarbon and from here on out ill keep buyin this line.
