I WOULD NOT RECOMEND IT FOR A SPINNING REEL BUT FOR A BAITCASTER IN 65# CAST A MILE

Rated 5 out of 5 by TonyP Stealth Braid a Must have for Bass fishing
I purchased 20LB Stealth Braid line and was very surprised with it's durability. Fishing for bass can often become exasperating as the bass always try to head for cover once you hook them. On several occasions I found myself in reeds after hooking a fish, and thought it was a goner, but I pulled the fish and sometimes the reed right out of the water. Very strong and durable.

I have had very good success with spiderwire mono so when I needed braided line for umbrella rigs I tried Stealth Braid. I spooled it on just like i would mono with no problems. It casts a mile and had very little backlash on my Lew's Speed Spool. I cant wait to try it on a spinning setup.

This product helped my co-angler out fish me in a recent tourney. Becuase of the smaller diameter and pliability of the line it out performed the braid I was using. It allowed for farther casting distance over matted grass to reach bass that I could not.

Love this brand! Smooth, quiet, and durable. Also the price is tough to beat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Wallman Great Strength
This line is good for trolling and short casting. If you have any small abrasions to face of reel it will definitely reduce casting length (the braid catches easily).. In addition, if you're using this line in crowded conditions where and tangle anothers line you might as well just cut it. It's very strong and supple, but it's suppleness will easily tangle nearby fishermans's line to the point that you more often than not need to cut without spending and inordinate amount of time trying to untie. Line is unmatched in my experience for strength but I would not use it on rod/reel combo used primarily for casting. I caught many 20+ pd Salmon in swift current and did not snap line once which occured often with my 17 pd monofilament.

It was in the morning hours and needed to cast far. After 20 casts the line got backlash. After a long tedious time to unraval the line I went back to fishing. Twice this happened. Then finally after multiple long casts the line snapped where it kept getting tangled and I lost my new lure.

Great "castability", with a good knot it's almost unbreakable. Hook sets are solid. Moss green color is great in all water, even clear. I fish in streams, ponds, lakes and reservoirs with all my reels loaded with Spiderwire braid. I have yet to find a place where it hasn't made fishing better. Line strength and small diameter are an outstanding combo.
