Impressed with delivery I had a eagle claw pack rod as a kid and used it alot! I like the portability and the action for a break down rod. I used it for about 3 decades. I bought this one for my son to keep in his vehicle since he travels a lot with his job and can use the rod when he happens upon an interesting fishing spot. Great rod for a trip in the wild Took this rod to Quetico and it preformed flawlessly. Everyday I had to break it down and put it back together for six days. Never had a problem with the pieces coming apart while casting or manipulating the rod in the canoe which is often tricky. July 25, 2012
