This is a great pack. It's comfortable to wear, holds all of my gear and even has room to keep my drinks and snacks cold.

by eddie Spiderwire Fishing Backpack Offers Rugged Comfort and Great Looks abd Design
I have been looking for a Fishing oriented back pack I can use to haul my fishing gear to my fishing holes.I wlk to them becsuse I don't own a boat. I looked at all the sports stores and couldn't find a Pack that was just what I needed, untill I came across the Sipderwire Pack at Dick's Sporting Goods..There it was amongst severall competitor's packs. I looked at the floor model, which was missing the organizational bait boxes. I liked what I saw but I ordered on-line from Dick's because the store's model was incomplete and It was the last one in stock. But it still gave me what I was looking for in a Fishing Pack i.e.; Durability, Capacity,Comfort, Fishing Rod Hlders and Comfort all at a fair price. The Spiderwire Pack delvers all of that with style and toughness. I am a happy camper and fisherman!

I mainly surf fish and I need a new bag to carry all my equipment from spot to spot with ease. So far this bag has preformed very well on all of my outings with no issues. The bag contains three main compartments and comes with three small tackle boxes. In one compartment you have the option to place drinks in about 6 12oz cans(no ice) or make two compartments ( one very big and the other some what small) I opted to the three compartments and was able to place 5 decent size tackle boxes and a 7" cast net.. A a good plus is the bag comes with a pilier clip the detaches from the bag and can be placed on your person. So far I've really enjoyed the bag and would recommend it to anyone. The only concern I have about the bag is if the zipper will stand up against the salt build up

Rated 4 out of 5 by DogBone_384 Overall a good bag.
Tried this bag as an alternative to my trusty old tackle box so I could ride my mountain bike fishing. It's a good bag but could use three small changes:
1. A small, zippered compartment containing an attached rain cover.
2. A water bottle net.
3. A tool holder attached to the bag, rather than the removable one. I find the removable one falls off the bag frequently and the bag's never far from me anyway.
Overall this is a good bag, has been comfortable when I've worn it and holds more than I need to carry.

I love this bag. It is everything I was needing in a bag and more. The tray are perfect, the extra pockets are the perfect size, and the cooler works great. Just pop an ice pack in there and your drinks and worms will stay cold for a long time! I will never use another bag.

I use this bag to stay mobile while fishing from the surf, and man is it nice. I was a little hesitant to drop that kind of money on a tackle box after using a plano tray for so long, but this thing really carries everything you need while keeping your hands free. I keep all my tackle, 2 surf rods, a towel and a small cooler in/on it with room to spare.

I bought this for my husband who loves to fish. I was tired of seeing him lug around all of his necessities in his hands. Making numerous trips from one fishing spot to the next. This turned out to be the best hands down. Especially for someone who walks to more remote areas. Everything he needs fits neatly and organized. It's made of sturdy material. The extra padding against the back and shoulder straps is fantastic for the weight it can carry. You can purchase a warranty which is great also. Recommend this product for ANY angler out there. Enjoy!

Good comfortable backpack ideal for trail fishing or a person who gets tired of lugging around bulky tackle-boxes when getting to remote fishing spots. The lower front compartment comes with 3 clear tackle boxes with room for a six pack or more boxes. Has multiple pockets for pliers, worms, even has a fleece lined compartment specifically for your sunglasses. Also has some slips for your pole and hiking buckles for the waist and chest. When you compare this pack to the Abu Garcia backpack, the spider dwarfs it in size and utility. This pack in my opinion is worth the extra few bucks in comparison to other packs from academy or basspro due to the fact this one feels and looks(stitching/material) more rugged and compact. Also the one from academy or basspro really didn't fit me well it felt too bulky and the material felt too thin for my liking. Like I said before good for hiking with to a fishing spot or for those who hate tackle boxes that make you feel like your carrying a large purse.

Purchased this bag due to a second back surgery. Needed something that could hold a good amount of tackle yet easier to carry then a tackle bag or box. I was very impressed with the size of the bag and amount it could hold. The picture does not do the bag justice. When all said and done this bag was exactly what I needed in order to continue fishing. I would recommend this bag to anyone who stream fishes or who like me had a surgery that would hinder them from getting out fishing.
