Yakclip
I went into Dick's Sporting Goods to look for some dumbbells. Along the way I found this Yakclip. Was excited to know there was such a device on the market. I haven't tried it on my kayak yet, but plan on doing so in the near future.

It works but not my first choice
I have a future beach 126 angler kayak. The Yakclip paddel/rod holder was surprisingly snug and held tight to the kayak but the paddle being held was kind of unstable. It would be better if the cradle holding the paddle was wider. I decided to buy a small bungee and hook-clips to hold the paddle for me. It took a little time to install it (compared to the Yakclip) but it holds the paddle / rods beautifully.

terrible product, brittle as heck
don't waste your time buying this paddle clip, I've already gone through two of them, they break way too easy

bought 2 one for me and the Mrs.
They worked good, and we are both happy. easy on and off. best part is it can be moved around to where you want it. they could hold a little tighter to the kayak if they had a set screw.

forgot one thing
I also use this when fishing...to hold the anchor out of the water while paddling. just put it on the same side as your anchor. when ready to fish...drop anchor and paddle in clip.

Clips onto the kayak fine, but the single clip does not hold paddle firmly. Two clips would be better.
