Not for me. I purchased this brace after quite a bit of research. Because it is not available in any of the four store locations near me I had to purchase it online without seeing it first. I went with this particular brace because, with my athletic thighs, I wanted to try something that was a full brace yet didn't have as much brace above the knee. There is no sizing chart and only two size options. Because this is a unisex product and I am a woman, I went ahead with the S/M size. The strap barely makes it around the upper part of my knee. The adjustable buttresses are a great concept, but I am not sure they work as well as intended. This could be, for me, due to the ill-fit of the size that I purchased. I was also unable to successfully position a buttress for both patella support (tendonitis and chondromalacia) and Anterior Ligament support due to their size and shape. Unfortunately, I will be spending more money to ship this item back. January 28, 2013
Great This brace is great! Very easy to use and adjust for the user's personal needs. The movable buttresses support several ailments. The detailed instructions help determine the best way to wear the brace for several knee issues. Small and supportive! May 14, 2012
This is a good product! I found the McDavid Multi-Action Knee Strap to be comfortable and helpful in relieving patella pain that I was experiencing. It fit well. March 24, 2012
Great Knee Brace for the Jumping Athlete As a volleyball player who has jumped a lot over the years, this is brace is a great stabilizer for the patella, it is light weight and easily bends under knee pads. I just wish the brace came in a size in the middle; the current sizes are Small/Medium and Large/Extra Large, which does not work for everyone. Make sure you try it on before buying and note it stretches. For me the large is too large within 30 mins after sweating and playing. But the small is too small to fit conformability under the knee pad. I plan on purchasing the small (and not wear a knee pad) to see if it will stretch enough to work better for longer hours of play. I would definitely purchase this knee brace again, even with the size restrictions (hence the 4 stars), it's better than the strap that fits under your knee cap and much smaller than the typical knee brace.
