Poor quality bungee cords This is the second rebounder that we have purchased. We loved the first one! The newer model has bungee cords that attach the net to the frame. No directions are given on how to do this! We googled the question, and it appears others had the same problem. One guy figured it out, and we followed his directions. As my daughter is kicking her ball into the net, the bungee cords are breaking! I thought that they were coming un-knotted, but the elastic is actually breaking! What a disappointment. May 11, 2013
Great value Great value for the money. Previous reviews complain about fastening the net with the bungee cords. If you pay attention to the manner in the way Franklin has wrapped one bungee cord around the remaining cords, it is rather easy to use the same method to use the cords to attach the net. An extra set of hands will make it easier but I was able to attach the net by attaching the four corners first then one side at a time. I found it best to wrap the cord around the seam where the corners of the squares meet as opposed to installing the cord on the edge of the square. The top bar does have a bow in it but its due to the tension of the net. It should be expected unless you want to pay hundreds more for a heavier frame. My children and I have already enjoyed hours of heavy use with no problems. April 28, 2013
Hard to put bungee cords on It was really cool until the bungee cords you really Aren't suppose to put them on at first but after that it is a really good product April 23, 2013
Does the job. The frame is built pretty solid. The directions did not provide good instructions on how to use the bungee cords. I had to use the internet to see how others had installed the net. It appears it should work out well. March 21, 2013
Awesome once you get it assembled My 10 year old son loves this net. It took a little while to assemble as the pieces seemed to be mislabeled... but once we got it together it works very well and is very sturdy. We have not had any issues with the net popping off. We've had it for about 2 months and he uses it almost every day. February 14, 2013
Soccer Rebounder The frame piping is not durable being 1" dia. , but it should hold up as long as no one runs into it or hangs on it. The net is okay quality. So far, my 12yr old son, did not put a hall through it. I think it is a pretty good for the price and to keep him away from the garage or house. Buy it ofr the price, unless you want to spend a few hundreds on a nicer one. February 8, 2013
Instructions NOT correct We put the rebounder up as the directions said, and after it was all together, then it was time to fasten the net. Which there was no way to fasten the net since it does not include hooks as the picture suggests. Had to take it all apart and put one bungee on the net and space out. After we got it together, noticed it had a small rip in the net. Contacted Dicks sporting goods and they are supposed to be sending a new one. January 8, 2013
Good but not Great This is our 2nd rebounder in 3 years. The frame is not as sturdy as we would like but sufficient. Wish the net clips were better. Ended up reinforcing with some extras we had so as to make it more sturdy. For the money, seems to be good quality. Hoping this one will last a little longer. January 8, 2013
Bounceback feature is great Tremendous success. The bounceback feature came as a complete surprise to my 8-year old grandson. He loves it --- and no longer kicks the soccer ball against the house! November 18, 2012
Good I got this about three years ago and I liked it a lot. Then, when my kicks started getting harder and harder, the bungees popped off and I had to re-tie them. This worked for about a year, so then I had to find some replacements online. Those worked for about a year, but now they can't be tied and more. I'm impressed on how weather resistant the bars are, but the screws that keep it together break off and rust (there's a plastic handle for the screws) This keeps it in place, but never plan on putting up and taking apart this rebounder.
