Does the job well but expensive.
There has been recent cases of some pretty scary infections from handling fish, including "flesh eating bacteria". I'm right handed and use one of these gloves on my left hand to grasp a fish when landing it because the gloves are very rough on the outside & grip very well.I also wear it to prevent fins hooks or teeth from slicing or puncturing my hand when landing or handling fish, and when cleaning or fileting fish to prevent accidently cutting my hand with the knife.They are not totally puncture proof, but are the best I've used or seen.I just wish they weren't so expensive. Made in China, yet they're still $20-$25 for each glove. Come on guys, cut us some slack, will ya?
