SKLZ Chrome Resistance Cable
No (longer?) any handle issues!
I just bought a complete set of the bands, handles, door jam thingie, etc. I've been looking at them for some time now. With regards to the larger bands not fitting the handles, I wonder if this is an issue that's already been resolved. In the past, the handles simply had a tapered slot (like the top of a vase) with one section cut out. You would push the band through the cutout and pull down until the notch on the band was seated in the tapered slot. Now it's essentially the same, but there's a retracting cover for the open section of the tapered slot. I assume on the older model of handles they had to make the opening smaller to avoid the band popping out. Now that there's a cover for the slot, they're probably able to make the slot itself wider without fear of a mishap. This is just my opinion ..and I know my nomenclature is horrible, but I think that's the deal.
With all THAT said, everything fits just fine. My 90 and 100# bands slid right in. This is AWESOME travel workout gear and great for someone looking to save space.

all bands fit handle
I laugh at some of the reviews. I'm not sure what everyone is doing when "trying" to fit the band into the handle, but the handles a little lock on them that you push up and slide to open. Its VERY EASY to open and insert whichever weighted band you have. I will say it another way, ALL BANDS FIT THE HANDLES WITH EASE. I recommend these bands. Especially if you can't afford dumbbells.

better explanation, store display
I recently purchased the Chest Expander by SKLZ from Dick's Sporting Goods. Although that product was good for it's intention I wanted something more versatile so I returned it. I saw the Leg/Hip Abduction system on SKLZ website. I wanted to purchase that system but it wasn't available as seen on that website. Going back to Dick's Sports I tried to piece that system together with the accessories available at Dick's. I didn't find everything I needed. The door attachment didn't look like it could attach to anything being just a nylon strap with a plastic sleeve covering one end. Didn't find the ankle attachment either. I know this sounds like it should be a knock on Dick's Sporting Goods for not carrying accessories for that system, (they only have so much floor space) but the SKLZ website didn't do their products much better not explaining how the system attaches to itself; what accessories I need to purchase for the exercises I want to do, and why not sell what you show on your website as a kit??

Larger band fitment
Great for a wide range of workouts, but if the opening for larger cords isn't big enough, either stop selling larger cords or make the opening in the handles larger to accomodate larger cables.

I like this product alot. The cables are really heavy duty and can take a serious beating. The handles are a bit of a bear compared to other resistance bands that use a caribiner hook and ring system like the extreme pro gym from gofit. But they do seem to be heavy duty and ready for anything i can throw at them.

Putting on the Handles
To put on the handles, thread the end of the tube that will rest in the handle between the grip sleeve (part you grasp with your hand) and step on that end of the tube. Step on the other end with approximately 24 inches of tubing between the feet. Now make sure the tubing is in the slot of the handle. Grasp each side of the handle that connects to the grip sleeve and pull up stretching the tubing until it pops into the groove. The handle groove is facing up and the stretching of the tube allows it to pop into place. It is not impossible at all. An excellent product that works great with the P90X programs.

The Best Cable I've Ever Used
I bought this product hoping to finally find a cable that would challenge me while doing the P90x back routine because I'm unable to hang my pullup bar in my home. This product does the trick. While it's still not as good as using a real pull-up bar, the 100lb resistance was a vast improvement over other cables/bands that I've used in the past and I don't feel as though the cable will break at any moment like some others that I've tried. I will agree with another poster, that the cables are somewhat difficult to put inside the handles, and while I did it myself... it did take some struggling because I had to stretch the cable out while trying to put the handle on. If you have a partner to help you out with the handles while you use both hands to stretch out the cable, it shouldn't be that hard to get the handles on.

Impossible to get on the handles
I have given it all of my might, I cannot get the 100 lb pilates cord on the handles that the manufacturer sells. I am able to get all other cords on the handles, though some are difficult. I went and bought a small lock that was meant for a locker, and I'm able to use the cord with that instead. I just close the lock around the cord and door adapter and now I can use the 100lb cord.
