Rated 5 out of 5 by keeps salt dry in humid climate It's been a really wet winter in So. FL and it kept my salt dry on the go. February 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE IT!! I have used other camping salt & pepper shakers but this is the BEST. First off, the construction is thick plastic, which makes it almost impossible to break accidently. I suppose a really determined camper could break it on purpose, in which case you shouldn't be camping with this dangerous person, but I digress... The shakers themselves: be aware that the side for salt is deeper than the one for pepper, unless you like pepper better then you could switch sides. The cover with the holes stays on because it is form fitting (believe me when I say you do NOT want the top coming off while attempting to season your food, which has happened to me YUCK.) The black and white tops are self-explanatory for the different sides. I bought one for myself and it was so well made my boyfriend wanted it, while promising to purchase another for me (which didn't happen) and it worked so well, I went back and purchased 4 more: one for my purse, one for my "Go Bag' and one extra for my boyfriend's car (for use when traveling or eating at fast food restaurants and one extra because the first time he used it with "friends" someone liked it so much one friend {term used sarcastically} "liberated" it for themselves; my boyfriend ?thinks? he knows who took it, someone who admired it, but can?t prove it.) I am VERY pleased with this purchase?.and to the person who stole it: you owe me!!! September 24, 2013
