Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 88 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better Than Plastic The fly about 60% the distance of a regular ball, they will hook or slice on mis- hits but they're much more susceptible to the wind than a regular golf ball. July 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Really fun training aid These are great for hitting around the yard, however when used with the longer irons they go a lot further than it states on the back of the box. I normally hit my 4 iron 205-210 and and with these balls I'm getting 180+ yards and ended up losing some in the woods. Besides that they are great and rely mimic true ball flight. July 28, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Travel farther than I expected I like the feel of the ball, especially with wedges and shorter irons, but didn't feel I could hit my driver and fairway woods as the ball still flies a good distance. Much farther than I anticipated. Would be great if you had an acre or so, but given I live in a densely populated neighborhood, I have to stick to practicing with my irons so I am not chasing balls everywhere or freaking my neighbors out. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Very realistic feel off the club. Travels a very good distance and so far my son has hit the house and the cars several times with no damage at all. Great way to get practice in without paying at the range. They are easy to find on the field. Definitely get them! July 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Too far? These feel nice when you hit them...they still fly quite a long ways though. They seem to hold up well. July 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great practice balls These practice balls give you a good idea of the ball flight. They are great to use in the back yard. July 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great item These balls are great when you can't get to the course or driving range. July 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great ball for at home best practice ball I ever had for my property. am able to hit all my clubs. June 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not bad. Pretty good, actually. I think it goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway) that practice balls dont give you the feedback you get from real balls. However, I have played with foam, plastic and now these practice balls and these Almost Golf balls are definitely the best alternative for me. I took them to a park with a baseball field and whacked them around with a 9 iron and found them to give a nice solid feel (compared to regular foam and plastic balls) and I was able to draw and fade them, depending on my swing. When you squeeze them they have very little give to them and that translates to a crisp feel off the club face and enough distance to see the shot shape. They jump off the club face initially and then slow down due to wind resistance and being lighter weight than a real golf ball. I hit a few chip shots with them too and I wouldn't hesitate to hit them in the house for that. The only thing stopping me from hitting full shots in the house is that I have 8' ceilings. I'd say if your looking for a short flight but pretty solid feeling ball to hit around your yard, over the house, in a park or wherever, without worrying about damaging things, then these are as good as you'll find. Definitely worth the few extra dollars over regular foam or plastic. Good luck June 16, 2015
