Great Shoe Poor arch support
The shoe is rugged. If you have high or medium arches, you will have to add some support to the shoe.

Good grip & Comfortable!
Used them on vacation. Good support when walking on the beach. Got sand in them but that was to be expected. Great in the rain.

Keen's are the best
Used Keens on trip to Galapagos Islands, where jumping off large dinghy and wading ashore is normal. these shoes worked wet, dry or full of sand. last yr bought some cheap shoes with same look at Walmart and they only gave me blisters, waste of money. buy good shoes and skip the cheap junk.
Most of other peopleon my tour also wore Keens.

perfect
Dockers used to make a similar sandal that covered the toes and had a heel backing but they changed them, making the soles thinner and adding some chemical ( I guess) to the fabric that really stinks. These are perfect well made and comfortable with a thick enough sole .

Slow to dry and stinky!!
Bought these for a bikepacking trip in Maine's Baxter State Park. I wore them daily for two weeks prior to the trip. In that two weeks, they proved to be comfortable although a bit "rubbery" in the sole. I was hoping the sole would wear in a bit to model to my feet. It didn't. They also seemed to wear in a bit stretching the ankle area. On my trip, I got them wet. They took FOREVER to dry. I thought perhaps they would be a little bit water resistant. No. Not one iota. The fabric absorbs water and holds it in like a sponge. Perhaps I may treat these with a water proof silicone spray. Maybe my fault - maybe not. I also expected them to have some sort of antibacterial/antimicorbial material or coating in the rubber and fabric. Again, I was wrong. Once wet, these sandals STUNK. Insufferably so. Putrid sour foot smell once wet. So bad that if I touched them, the stink was on my hands. I cooked them over a campfire to dry out. Luckily, once dry, the odor dissipated. These shoes really aren't any better than Tevas with the same problems at half the price. I do give them credit for having a full heel.
