The Best
I started walking daily and my old (cotton) socks rubbed on my feet and caused a blister. My daughter-in-law wears SmartWool socks. These are like some of hers. I wasn't sure I'd like the very low style, but they do stay up (above the heal) and are most comfortable. No more sores. :-)

No bunching!
Love these hiking socks. They don't slide and bunch down into the heel. They stay up are thickly cushioned and comfy. Won't buy a different brand for hiking - these are the best!

Warm Socks!
I purchased this sock for my daughter for Christmas, as per her request. It ended up that everyone in the family purchased SmartWool socks for each other -- a big hit in our family I learned! The comments were: these are some of the warmest socks to wear around the house on cold winter days. Everyone in our family is happy with SmartWool socks -- son, daughter, and wife. I'm finding my pair to be pretty nice as well!

smart wool socks
my daughter-in-law introduced me to these wonderful socks at Christmas time. I am now wearing them year around. I discovered there are knee highs, peds type and anklet ones. I love them all. At first I was skeptical about washing them and putting them in the dryer! They got clean and dry! My feet say thanks. They are however a bit on the pricey side. I have never paid that much for socks before.

comfy socks
these are really the most comfortable socks on the planet. great for wearing with my birkenstocks when it's not quite warm enough to go barefoot. they hug my feet and keep them warm but not hot. i only wish they were less expensive.
