COMPONENTS:

SCHUTT HELMET FITTING GUIDE:
- A properly fitted helmet is an important first step in player protection. To determine head size, wrap a cloth measuring tape around the circumference of the player's head. Measure approximately 1" above the player's eyebrows at the widest point. Record measurement and refer to chart below:

- XX-SMALL: Hat Size - 6" - 6-1/4"; Circumference - 19" - 19-1/2"
- X-SMALL: Hat Size - 6-3/8 - 6-1/2"; Circumference - 20" - 20-1/2"
- SMALL: Hat Size - 6-5/8" - 6-3/4"; Circumference - 20-3/4" - 21-1/4"
- MEDIUM: Hat Size - 6-7/8" - 7"; Circumference - 21-1/2" - 22"
- LARGE: Hat Size - 7-1/8" - 7-1/4"; Circumference - 22-1/4" - 22-3/4"
- X-LARGE: Hat Size - 7-3/8" - 7-1/2"; Circumference - 23" - 23-1/2"
- NOTE: If measurement falls between helmet sizes, choose the smaller size
CHECKING FOR A PROPER HELMET FIT:
- Interlock hands on top of helmet and press down - player should feel pressure on crown of their head, not their brow
- Skin of the forehead should move with the front pad
- Front of helmet should be about 1" above the eyebrows
- Jaw pads should feel firm against their face
- There should be no room for twisting
- To avoid injury or discomfort, never wear a helmet positioned too high or too low
ADJUSTING THE CHIN STRAP:
- Tighten all four straps evenly until secure and lock buckles into place
- Cup should be centered and snug over their chin
- Adjust chin strap until cup is firmly pressed against their chin
- When buckled, helmet should feel comfortable and snug

Great over all helmet I think its a lukey helmet because I ran 30 yards for a td right up the middle and I striped the ball and ran in back fo anether 38 yards. I scored the only td's in the game I LOVE the helmet Me and my freind got in a colishon and he got a cacushin so we both got this helmet and we both LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quality Helmet for Kids
The best part about the helmet was the experience during the purchase. Your staff member was extremely helpful with the fit and selection. He gets an A + in my book. That's what selling is all about. The helmet is a great choice for 7th and 8th grede football, maybe all the way up to varsity. We ordered on-line in the store and the helmet was received days later. Can't beat it!

i've been playing football for 9 years and out of all my helmets this is the best and with over 10 family members in the NFL and my brother going this year there's alot of football knowledge and they all recommend this helmet

Good price for a great helmet.
My son has been playing youth football for four years. And i have always bought him his own helmets. I don't trust league helmets. He has really enjoyed this helmet and says it felt great from the first day and he hasn't had any headaches. Great product.

nice helet
This is a nice helmet and it fits my son well, the only problem is every time he wears it I have to put all the padding from the inside back in it. It looks like they rushed it together and none of the velcro or sticky backs line up so the padding inside the helmet is always coming out or slidng around.

online deal is best
the best deal for this helmet came from online. Included the custom facemask and chin-strap. In store helmet had no chin strap (kinda Janky in my opinion). Anyway my son loves it and is enjoying hitting this year.
